Looks like you didn't watch the game, but only saw the box score. That's too bad, because you missed all KP did for the team. Passes that weren't for assists, passes that were for assists but the shots weren't made, driving and kicking the ball out. He basically change the nature of the game on both ends of the floor. Sometimes you have to see the game because the stats don't tell the whole story.

I 100% agree with your logic. My question is why can't we use this logic for ALL our players?

That's the problem. Individual performance and team performance are totally different.

Anthony Davis plays great and is a great player and yet his team sucks. Why? He can't win alone. However, a team not winning doesn't take away from him performing well.

All 15 players are not going to contribute to a win, whether nightly or season long. Individual performances are what makes team performances possible.

If KP is going to be the player we hope for, then his performances MUST impact the team performance. You can wait on Ron Baker and Kuz to pump out all-star performances on minimum salary

That's what the best players do, and that's why they are the best.

Yeah the best player has to make the team better and be a leader. That's why people like Derozan are not those type of players. Derozan and Melo ain't first option players.
