Dario got so much better last season in the NBA. He might play like this every night internationally now.

I love his fervor as a rebounder. He get's after it on the boards. Honestly gonna be one of my favorite players on this team.

Dario does have a good strong game, he likes to bully his way on some defenders. It should be interesting to see if he starts or leads the 2nd unit. His vision is one of his best skills, he has good ball movement like Simmons.

Dario killing it as part of the night shift is going to be such a game changer for this team. I've greatly missed the depth weve had in years past that allowed us to have one of the better benches in the league. While we were mediocre at best, the years of the Night shift were so much fun to me. Lou Will, Evan Turner, Thad Young, Lavoy Allen(and Vucevic at times), that group came in and just scored in bunches.

Would love to see Dario, TJ, Bayless, Stauskas, Amir Johnson take on those roles. The depth on this team is suddenly an advantage we havent had in years. Truly believe we are playoff bound with even moderately good health.

Dario tearing it up for Croatia heading into the FIBA tournement. 3 prelims he's averaging 20 something and over 10 rebounds. i wouldn't sell this guy short coming into next season. he might just surprise you.

I mean, he did averaged 17/7/3.5 after the break last year. Not sure he'd be 'surprising' anyone if he's ballin this year.

What makes me most excited about the squad is that most people consider Dario our 5th or 6th best player when it's very possible he could be #3 at some point soon.

I agree Dario is a valuable player. Dario, Covington, and Simmons can be moved around to take advantage of mismatches.

Unfortunately, Dario doesn't have the elite athleticism, such as PG or Draymond, but his ball handling and vision is very good. He is a good playmaker. He is very strong and works hard to get good position. Although, he could be a starter, he could be more valuable leading the 2nd unit.

Might be the first person to ever call Draymond Green an elite athlete! He's pretty agile and long for his height but he has below average quickness, hops, and burst for a NBA player. He's just really smart and plays angles and corners perfectly, and he's got enough size and basic skills and fluidity to make that work for him.

Dario just doesn't have Draymond's insane defensive instincts (that's fine, no one else really does) and he probably lacks the side to side stuff that allows Draymond to cut off perimeter players. (He's also down like 4-5 inches in wingspan from Draymond).

Good points. Draymond just seems to be in the right spot at the right time. It's difficult to think he's not very athletic. He is around 6'7 with a 7'1 wingspan. I agree his insane defensive instincts make him special. He averages 10pts, 8rbds, 1.5steals, but makes everyone better.

Dario is 6'10 with a 6'10 wingspan. He is considered not very athletic, too. However, his playmaking skills are very good. His passing and ball handling seem to be very good for his size. Unfortunately, it's the perimeter defense and quickness that will probably hold him back. Maybe, Dario can improve his shooting to earn playing time.

Dario is not a good fit for Sixers and Sixers are a terrible fit for him. Sixers are loaded with young talent and there is just no place in the team for Saric. It would be great for all parties if a trade can be worked out that benefits everyone. He is an unbelievably good player but will struggle in Philly. I hope I am wrong.

Just because he is a 6th man doesn't mean neither is a good fit for each other. Dario will get his minutes. I actually think his versatility makes Philly even more interesting, so I don't see your viewpoint in terms of fit. Now I can certainly be wrong, but I feel like at this point in his career Dario would also disagree with you and say he wants to be in Philly. Your place for him on a team seems to be a top 2 option, which with all due respect to one of my favorite players, that team would not do well if that were the case.

As a bench player I believe he'll bring a lot of value and may be part of the finishing core. He does bring some of what folks like in Draymond (tenacity, competitiveness, skill set for a PF) but he lacks the elite length and tenancy to finish with a kick to the groin.

The only way that he becomes a bad fit is if he becomes so good that he has to start. Coming off the bench and playing 28-30 minutes a night is a great role for him, and he will be terrific leading the second unit, and then playing with the starters late in games based on foul trouble or matchups.
