You got "Porzingis may end up with a bad attitude" from THAT video?!
So I guess Steph Curry must be a vile human being to you then?
The nerve of KP, having fun while representing his country BY CHOICE. The nerve of KP running youth camps and building a basketball court to do so.
...how DARE he!
Y'all nig*as reach for anything these days.

For anybody who's ever seen Curry with that disgusting dangling mouth guard, you just know it's true he's vile. As for KP, nah, representing his country is not enough. Anybody who wants to be really great should represent at least two.
It's nice that he wanted to represent his country. I haven't said anything bad about that. Obviously that's not the whole picture.
Like it or not, he's a 2nd year player (okay 3rd year, with the 3rd year far off) who seemed to defy the Knicks president and helped push him out. You can ignore that completely, no problem from me. To each his own. That raises my antenna.
Marbury and Larry Brown ... who cares who was right and who was wrong, that was a bad sign no? Yes it was.
And to anticipate the arguments against me ... yes I know KP could be greater than Marbury, I know Phil might've been senile and trying to get fired, no Phil should not have given that stupid interview to ESPN where he talked about trading the Unicorn, etc. I'm fair. I really am.
But I'm concerned too. We can pretend he's so great in his talent that he doesn't need to be a really good guy mentally -- that he doesn't need to be fully focused and committed -- but I can't pretend that. I don't see KP as that kind of talent. He's 7-3 and gifted. All NBA players are gifted. Kawhi has amazing gifts, but I think KP's odds of reaching Kawhi's level, or close, are about the same as Kawhi's were.
But one of the secrets of the success of guys like Kawhi is love of the game, a strong desire to be great, and excluding as many distractions as possible to reach the pinnacle. I'm entirely hoping that I'm overreacting in my concern, yep.

Mental side is the least of my worries for KP. His skill in the other hand..
Every scout and trainer (even in this fact video, our NT coach said KP would've handed out towels in his first season in NBA..) Everyone thought he wasn't ready.
But no-one really knew how thought he was mentally. Guy just said **** it, I'am gonna impress.
All this **** about him not being alpha material.. He is scared to shoot, etc.
Btw, I gathered some stats from two previous years. Of games where he missed the most shots in the 1st quarter. And how he finished the games afterwards. Posted this before in one of Melo`s trade threads, perhaps someone missed it.
Top 10 games where he missed the most shots in the 1st quarter:
Against LAC: Started - 2/9, Finished - 4/17.
Against Indiana: Started - 1/7, Finished - 3/11.
Against Pelicans: Started - 1/7, Finished - 4/15.
Against Indiana: Started - 1/7, Finished - 5/17.
Against Kings: Started - 1/6, Finished - 6/17.
Against Blazers: Started - 1/6, Finished - 8/21.
Against LAC: Started - 4/9, Finished - 10/19.
Against Denver: Started - 0/5. Finished - 10/23.
Against Raps: Started - 0/5. Finished - 3/11.
Against Kings: Started - 1/6. Finished - 6/19.
Well, not as many good games as I remembered.![]()
But as you can see, even after a cold start he still went above 10 FGA in every one of those games.. In many even over 15 FGA. So he clearly keeps shooting even if started slow..

I hope I'm dead wrong but I feel like this dude is on the Dwight Howard trajectory. Just my gut.

If Dwight goes to the HOF, so should Ron Artest and Ben Wallace

Eh, Dwight and Ben are multiple time all stars and DPOY winners, Artest doesn't have that resume

Artest was the first perimeter player to win DPOY in 15 years, and it would be another 11 years before that happened again. What he did carries more rarity.

I disagree. Dwight and Ben did it at least 3 times. That's rarer.
