jeff will be gone after this season. then we'll have to suffer through a summer of threads that kp is a diva coach killer even though jeff isn't a good coach.
We sure about that? I'd like to give him the full season to see what how he'll use KP and foster the development of the young guys.
i'll concede jeff was dealt a bad hand under the pjax regime but he hasn't shown me any semblance of a defensive philosophy and players walk over him. it's was the same story when he coached phoenix.
i'm out on jeff

yep. everybody kind of thinks jeff sucks. but if kp pushes jeff out, people will be mad at him for it. people are mad at kp for getting what the rest of the league considered the worst executive in the league fired. this is more of just the jealously of athletes that rears it's head here from time to time. "you're getting paid all the money for a kids game, how dare you do anything but keep your head down and be a good soldier. how dare you push out a crazy old man who everyone knows is crazy. you're supposed to let him keep ruining year after year and deal with it. how dare you care about wasting years under this man. we're watching you now kp, you better be the greatest basketball player ever to put on sneakers after this."
couldn't agree more.

I was done with him when Lee said Jeff never implemented a defense during training camp. That's unacceptable.

KP might be a clown but it would be stupid to trade him for Kyrie.

I agree, if they trade kp picks and frank for irving i would be done with this franchise for good.
Thay would be franchise malpractice.

edit: And yeah.
KP thought he escaped Rose.. And BAM!

I'll trade KP for Kyrie if Cavs give us their next 5 1st round picks.

Considering what Phil was asking for, Krye ain't enough to get him so, its really a non issue. But, peeps shouldn't act like the kid can't be traded. For the right package, anyone should be sent packing. If he could net something like Leonard from the Spurs, Gobert and pick- I know this has no place in reality, just an example that anyone can be moved for the right package.
At the same time, not seeing him grow into what he can be in a Knicks uniform would leave a sour taste in my mouth. I want to see us develop him, would love to see what his future has in store.

this is just the Cavs paying trying to show LB that they are shaking all the trees in an effort to improve. Not like NY called them about Kristaps.

I think franchise players should be hold accountable especially if they pull the rug under people above them.
It was on Melo. Now it's on KP. He is not the first or last player drafted by a bad team. Almost lottery team start with unproven coaches and GMs.There is a reason why they are called FRANCHISE players. They must be good enough to carry a bad team into moderate success despite whats going around them.
Nobody would care about Phil,Jeff or his diva attitude if he plays great this season and cause our team overachieve with this unproven coach, unproven gm and miserable roster.

If Lebron stays in Cleveland after getting KP those picks wouldnt worth anything in next 5 years.

Re: Porzingis Unicorn #3 Thread
KP is being smart. He is distancing himself from the distracting NY media who loves, LOVES to ask repetitive questions until you become frustrated and say something that you did not intend. Notice, Durant was frustrated even in OKC with the media. IF there is ANY outside deterrent on why FAs avoid the Knicks, it's because they fear the media looking into their private life.
Let this kid work on his conditioning, his lower body strength, and his game in peace.
BTW I hope...I HOPE the USUAL KP critics understand, NOT everyone comes out looking like a Marvel Comics superhero work out freak after ONE off-season. Not everyone builds muscle that fast. Not everyone should build muscle that fast.
This IS reality calling...athletics on a kid still growing into his body is a progressive, organic process.
All I want out of KP is a little more consistency offensively, a little more commitment defensively...and most importantly good health moving forward.

From 29:50 On court exercises.
From 37:05 Scrimmage.
Liked to see KP is practicing hook-shot.
At least in scrimmage highlights it seemed game went through him a lot. He made some smart passes out of the post. Also scored a decent amount.
