Twice the middle of the order fails to do anything with 2 on and 1 out against this random dude the Giants are running out there tonight.

Meanwhile the Giants immediately cash in their first opportunity.

I'd almost rather have this team face Kershaw than some random scrub. The results will be the same but at least I'll understand it.

Whoever Jared Parker is, he's already annoying me. Expecting Sandoval to suddenly remember how to play baseball again for the next three days.

We don't even look like we're capable of starting a rally.

Since the all star break we've scored 31 less runs than the 2nd worst team in the NL.

Especially because other than 1 or 2 people who also understand the risks of it, nobody was calling for trading the farm on here.

Yup. Whats the point of even being a fan if you're unable to enjoy this particular ride? Not a single "baseball person" had the Brewers in this position on August 22nd. And we haven't come close to "mortgaging the future" to get here. Guess I don't understand the "SELL HARD!" and "See... it was never sustainable" themed posts after every loss.
