They don't give out info about Embiid unless they have to.

Yeah it seems like he's been on radio silence with social media for a while... I feel like he did the same thing when he had the first or second navicular injury...

It's the silence that makes people go stir crazy. Not that there is anything wrong with the current silence. I mean it is the off-season, and there is no reason to talk about anything.

If he isn't a full participant in training camp then obviously something is wrong, but I think that he is fine. Either way we will find out in about 3 weeks.

It hasn't gone unnoticed that Joel has literally vanished off the face of the Earth. He has had only 1 tweet in the last 8 weeks... and it was about the Mayweather fight. This from a guy who lives on social media.

Ask him no questions and I guess he will tell you no lies :(

Others are starting to see it as well.. this from this morning's latest 76ers post.

To be fair he did say in Africa that he wasn't cleared. People chose not to believe it for some reason...

Embiid was on Instagram a few days ago rapping and doing other silly stuff.

He's probably in seclusion somewhere far off the grid, hiding from our medical staff until training camp begins.

Yeah I notice he only posts the videos that nobody can make comments in... and none of them are of him with a basketball in his hand.

1Q from an outsider

If he averages around 35 ish games this season ( like last year) would you guys still max him out because of his potential?
Bet with Stillwater Celtics will finish 6th or higher in ECF Standings Regular Season(17-18). [WON]

Maybe he bet everything on McGregor.

Makes sense. Got to be listening to Noel's advise.

My take. I think its fair from Biid's side to ask for the contract, since Biid is also risking his health. But I do think this also shows the lack of confidence we have on Embiid's health

If this report is true I think this could be viewed as a positive for the Sixers. If the Sixers wait until after the season to extend Embiid and he stays healthy and plays in 70 plus games he's getting the max. I prefer to sign him now. Steph Curry also didn't want to wait to extend. He signed early and took a lower deal. I hope the Sixers do sign Embiid now to a large but not max contract. Anything less than a max could be a huge steal for us. Do it now. I know just about everyone else wants to wait because of his health. Not me. I want him extended to a non max deal now. Now if Embiid only wants a max now that's the only way I say no and wait until the season ends. If Embiid is happy with a non max deal then I run to get that done now.
