Are you high...? Did you watch the game?

Randolph ripped his arm out and laughed at him. KP should have tried punching him at least.

Carmelo's Realgm account.

Not sure. If Carmelo's, the advice would have been "KP needed to back peddle out of that situation"

Dirk in his second year played a lot like KP. Lots of face up jumpers, moving without the ball. Starting from his third year, Dirk added muscle and began to take contact and play in the post more.

You're either a troll or a KP hater, because I refuse to believe you'd actually be that dumb. Randolph was being absolutely destroyed all game long. Then Randolph just couldn't take it anymore, but he knew he couldn't do anything against KP within the rules of the game, he just knew he was a far inferior player. So he decided to sneak in and grab KP's arm and try to dislocate it like a little bitch that he is. He was jealous of KP's future stardom and tried to take it away so neither one of them could have it.

Disagree on the Melo window assumption. PJax had the final say and he chose to trade for DRose. The same way he passed on Dragic and Rondo. If it was about Melo's window, why didn't he trade for those guys back then? And if it was only about Melo's window, why was PJax trying to push Melo out the door while saying in the same press conference that he was open to bringing back DRose? Wouldn't he be kicking DRose to the curb if it was only about Melo??

Elite scorers who find that balance between being aggressive and trusting their teammates become the most elite players. Melo has never found that balance here outside 15-16. That doesn't mean being an elite scorer alone is useless. What you call an excuse, I call recogznizing him for what he is.

Did you really just create an undercurrent of resentment on behalf of KP towards Melo? Cmon man. We have enough drama that's real.

Once again circling back to the original post from a few pages back: KP will only be better now that his PG will not be ignoring him consistently. This kid is so underutilized and I'm excited to see PGs making it a priority to set him up.

“Goran Dragic, for one. I heard through the grapevine that he was open to coming here. We worked hard on that possibility, but the asking price was too dear. Maybe we worked on that possibility so much so that it distracted us. I mean, Dragic is every team’s current choice for a nuclear option — a guard who can penetrate and either score or kick. Guys like Chris Paul and James Harden. But, anyway, that’s not really the way I want us to play.” http://nba.nbcsports.com/2015/07/27/phil-jackson-says-knicks-wanted-goran-dragic-at-trade-deadline-because-hes-such-a-triangle-fit/

The triangle is not really a good look for me, I don’t think,” Rondo responded. The source said Rondo was not in any way demeaning its use, just stating his opinion about how his skills would fit." “The triangle is not really a good look for me, I don’t think,” Rondo responded. The source said Rondo was not in any way demeaning its use, just stating his opinion about how his skills would fit. http://nypost.com/2016/02/15/did-blasting-rajon-rondo-blast-derek-fisher-off-knicks/

the idea of a melo window and jackson's wish (or maybe it was part of dolan's mandate) to address it is well documented. i have quoted them already before, and it too like the quotes i cite is all there in black and white.

very few people back in february 2011 wanted to wait it out to get melo as a free agent. most were of the mind that "i would do that trade 100 times out of a hundred" and "if we didn't get him he would have been a net." to the first assertion i say you are wrong and you never trade for a one-dimensional player and to the second i would say so what? it would have meant a year as a net and then he'd be a knick. how do we know this? because he said so, ie "i want to be a knick."

So you're proof that PJax made the DRose trade for Melo's window is that he didn't want to pay for Dragic and Rondo didn't feel like he was a great fit for the triangle, two PGs who fit Melo's window?

If he wanted to make moves for Melo's window, why did he trade Tyson and Shump - 2 guys who fit Melo's window?

So he didn't want to worry about Melo's window with some moves but he did with others?

You guys are trying to turn a comment about how better PG play would help KP, instead of a PG who would ignore time and again, into a Melo thing.

well the quotes i provided cite players who, though they fit melo's window, were either too expensive for the knicks or not a good fit in the triangle. so jackson passed on them. i believe it was documented that jackson wanted to defuse clubhouse friction and that meant tyson had to be shipped off. and lets not forget that tyson was not really a triangle type center anyway. as far as shump, well he and smith balked at having to learn the triangle or play within it, either that or they were too dumb to learn it. either way, jackson wanted triangle players and those players didn't fit. it seems to all come back to wanting the team to run the triangle offense, acquiring players who do, and getting rid of players who don't, with the added criterion of attitude/friction. balancing that with accommodating melo's window proved a mistake.

also consider: he gave rose a one year but noah several years. jackson was more willing to acquire noah and overpay him for more years, who if healthy would have been a great triangle fit, though not necessarily justifying the cost. the fact that he got hurt and that rose took up a bigger role is a lousy consequence. in short, you could make a case for saying that jackson's real goal was to acquire noah, as he fits the triangle, is a good leader, and could mentor kp6 in the finer art of passing. that serves a dual purpose of melo's window/triangular player.

Nice find.

One thing Dirk showed in that video that KP hasn't shown is the passing ability. Dirk fed the post/cutter beautifully several times in that footage.

Lol, he seems a bit thirsty here.
But I hope for KP's sake, he finds someone who loves him for who he is and not some gold digger.

Dude should enjoy being single. This is the best time in his life to experience all that life has to offer. Don't lock yourself down until you fully know what's out there.

I was in a committed relationship and 20, nearly married her....would have been an huge mistake and I'm so glad I waited, sowed my oats first so when I met Mrs Right, I was TRULY ready.

Lebron James had a dude blowing in his ear
Steph Curry got tossed around

I care more about whether he can mentally carry a franchise and whether he can physically be unstoppable on the court.

Who cares if a bust tries to get physical with him in a non NBA game?

You are as useful as a poop flavored lollipop. Instead of talking about who actually outplayed who, you're focusing on AR taking a cheap shot at KP and KP being MATURE by not doing anything in retaliation.

You don't need to be willing to fight someone to be a star, that's some mental midget **** thinking. FOH with that ****.
