- Hiring of Jerry West as consultant/ Doc focused on ONLY coaching, new GM and new management
- Turned CP3 into Lou Williams, PatBev, Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrel and a 1st rnd pick
- Turned that 1st rnd pick into Danillo Gallinari
- Signed Blake Griffin to 5yr/max deal
- Signed EuroMVP Teodosic to 2yr deal to help deal with PG troubles post CP3
- Purchased 2 draft picks with cash = (Juwan Evans and Sindarius Thornwell)
- Started G-League team - Agua Caliente Clippers

Not an A for sure, losing a star as big as CP3 is a big hit but they did bounce back pretty well out of it.
Now, If they would have been able to land say Kyrie Irving out of CP3 that may have been different. CP3 is a close friend to LeBron so I'm sure the Cavs would have at least entertained the idea of getting a top 3 point guard thinking it may seal the deal with LeBron staying in Cleveland and CP3 would have definitely picked the chance to play with his friend LeBron over the Beard. As it stands now, they still did pretty well since CP3 could have walked (granted walking would have meant having to sign with a team with cap space instead of the Rockets or another contender). I would say a solid B for now.
They got the great mind of Jerry West and more depth for sure. Maybe Teodosic will surprise and be an even better fit for Blake and DJ than expected and be able to keep them at around the same playoff spot as last year instead of dropping spots or missing the playoffs. If that does happen, then for sure an A, but until we see how the team actually meshes post CP3 its hard to say that.
