There is never any good that becomes of it...And if anything it paints a picture that many people here do not care for at all...

I have to honestly say, being over 65 and never having experienced first hand what it's like to live in a situation where gangs are prominent, that this matters to me... and may actually affect what I think of this young player...

I'm very sad to hear this news....in much the same way that I was sad to hear about Marcus Morris' legal trouble.....

I honestly do not give one **** about Terry’s gmb affiliation but acting like it doesn’t exist is equally as naive. He replaces C letter words with K and he proudly reps gmb on all of his social media.

And it’s not like he’s actually in the hood, gangbanging and killing, or doing any other types of gang-related crimes so I have no problem with him repping where he came from.

Do you really think so? It seems to me that fewer NBA players come from rough backgrounds than, say, NFL players - because of the small roster size, the NBA is that much more selective and elite, and this we have lots of second generation and sheltered AAU circuit guys. Plus 75 pct are a bit separate from regular population due to freakish height.

All in all NBA players seem the most upstanding of any sport - as opposed to NFL, MLB, and NHL who have large rosters with less elite, more normal size players with from all walks of life, with more shady characters among them.
