Not living in Philly I do not get to hear talk radio and such....i was just curious what the talk about JoJo has been? Do we expect him to be full go when the real season starts?

I heard it from a couple people yesterday and then on the radio last night on WIP a host said a person he trusts greatly told him Embiid would play in the game. Not that this is a big development, we all assumed he's play the first regular season game anyway.

But nobody knows what will happen that far in the future. The only possibility is that someone said that if Embiid continues as he has currently been progressing that the plan is to let him play hat night.

There is no such thing as “he will play in that game”

Well of course nothing is 100% certain, he could fall down the steps tomorrow, but basically if the rumblings are accurate, that's what they're planning.

I can believe that. I hope it’s true.

It really doesn’t matter to me if he plays in that game or not though. The most important thing for me is how they plan to play him minutes wise once he starts playing again.

I won’t be disappointed if they start him out with a minutes restriction, but I hope and expect that the restrictions would go away by Thanksgiving or so.

I'm ok with Embiid playing 25 minutes a game. Just need him out there. Even with no offensive input, he changes the game so much on the defensive end. I've watched almost every game he's played last year. Look at Cleveland game for example. LeBron just stopped attacking the rim when Embiid was out there.

Seems like this was always the plan.

Which goes back to the issue with the luncheon and media day. Just lay that out.

Of course no one cares once he's healthy and playing. But the next time he has to sit we're gonna go through this whole circus again.
