I guess if you are going to be capped out, might as well be with young players who are decent.

Not sure if Minny is capped out due to bird rights etc. I'd think even with Towns on a rookie deal they have to be close. But the team is fairly set and it's not like they don't have players other teams might want if for some reason the pieces don't quite mesh (which I think will)

It had something to do with his former agent and compensating him. He basically had the agent negotiate the contract for him and fired him before signing it.

Some of these deals are better than others. CJ makes less, for example. I get that they kind of had to do it in this cap environment. When things inevitably settle down in a few years, I think they're gonna regret it though.

Wiggins is def not worth it right now. But he still has a lot of potential. Amazing tools. + durability, that's important.

Also - he was waiting for Kevin Love and Lebron to get his thank you delivery from 1-800 Flowers for making sure he didn't wind up in Cleveland. That place is going to be awful next year.
