Kristaps Porzingis on if he's concerned due to the Knicks' 0-4 preseason: "Not concerned, but we saw that there's a lot that we need to work on. We didn't look good at all. There are a lot of things -- we've been watching a lot of film and getting here early … and correcting our mistakes and talking to each other and that's what we can do right now and then go out on the court and do it the right way. And it's going to take a little bit of time but we all have the same goal and if we have our mind clear of what we want to do and if we … stay together and do these things, then sooner or later our defense is going to get better and our offense is going to get better."

Both Embiid & KP deserves 150 millions. It's a gamble on Embiid but when he is healthy he might already be best center in the league. You gotta take that chance.

I’m cool with giving kp the big money the future is bright for him we”d be fools not to pay up.

I do feel some type of way about what Noah and hardaway are making though

I think he'd have to regress considerably not to get that money. KP's getting paid and in all likelihood he's getting paid here.

He's still just weeks off of beating the Eurobasket competition like a drum.

He needed to add much more variety to his low post game in the off-season. A 7-3 guy should be unstoppable when guarded by a smaller player.

His long-range shooting is just not strong enough at this point to completely rely on it while leading a good team.

We should see him with competent PG play and at C before we determine if he's good enough offensively to be the #1 option on a good team.

He's going to get that money whether he proves he's capable of being the #1 option or not.

Of course he is. 30 out of 30 teams would give him the max extension just based on what he's done so far.

I'm addressing the concern on whether he's the #1 on a good team.

Mainly because everybody is overpaid and a number of teams place themselves in Cap hell with no disregard for proper team management. He is in no way worth that contract unless he improves significantly on AND off the court.

Amazing what good marketing and a nickname can do.

Porzingis should stop talking about wanting to be a leader and an all star but playing like a timid pussy out there. The guy even didn’t demand the ball in a preseason game vs the nets. You are the franchise player. Act like it on the court.

Just take the QO KP and sign wherever you want whether it be Knicks or the damn Bobcats.

Do not lock yourself into this mess long term, money is available every year.
