This is the worst of all Geno takes...

no i would say yours is. Geno is a disaster and to say anything less is really a mystery, why because he was bad with the Jets he will magically change and be good with the Giants? get real the guy is a mental midget. nothing I said was untrue and completely verifiable. Or you mean he did not make the same mistakes repeatedly or he did not get into a fight with a 260 lber when he bailed on an event and offered to pay back the player in question never mind he was supposed to be a team leader? what do you base your opinion on? because it must not have been seeing him play.
Geno sucks almost as bad your limited post because there is some substance to geno but not your post

Show me tape of Geno not making reads and I'll believe you. And yes everything you said was untrue.

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/film-room/2015/film-room-ryan-fitzpatrick

But yeah let me see what you pull out of your bs hot take rants that has any sort of actual qb evaluation.

so lets review how did Geno hurt his knee when he had a chance to start last yr,,, oh he held onto the ball too long history proves you wrong as well as stats. geno made the same mistakes over and over again and did not learn from them. I would have loved for Geno to succeed but he did not. The main reason why he failed was himself, he did not learn from his basic mistakes. he could read a defense not really, when he had his best games he was a one or two read qb. With the field split in half. I have seen him miss open receivers again and again once I can see but when the defense leaves people open and baits into the throw they want you to make you are not a startin qb in the nfl. Look at his stats they are bad beyond bad way too many turnovers but yeah he makes reads. The issue is with Geno he does not think. . AT best he is a career backup stop making him into something he is not a productive smart qb. everyone knows what Geno is a turn over waiting to happen a qb that can snatch defeat out of victory. I saw every Jet Game and he made no progress. even with bad receivers you can not blame every interception and sack on the the other players around him. I am not sure if you want to play him because every geno fan will have a built in excuse, the Gmen receivers were hurt and they are.
The link you posted is about blasting fitzpatrick and pumping Geno and they even say he is not a high bar to clear. stop and take the geno tinted glasses off and give really critical review of the qb not the person the qb. You will see he has not progressed from his 2nd yr. Is that the Jets fault maybe but after giving him chance after chance and watching him make the same mistakes again and again and blow those chances he is what he is. Geno thought after 8-8 he could cost he could not he never learned and mentally lazy he never learned the mental game.
He played in 36 games for teh jets and 36 interceptions to 28 tds factor in the fumbles and has 43 turn overs. Not all of those turn overs are on the receiver or the linemen it was because geno never learned to throw the ball away hence last yr when he got hurt it was because he held onto the ball to long and never threw it away.

The below areticles can be from any Geno Smith game just change the dates

review from a preseason game

Smith completed 11-of-17 (64.7 percent) passes for 79 yards. He finished with a 50.9 passer rating. He had two carries for four yards and was sacked one time for a loss of nine yards.
ANALYSIS

Smith has performed exactly as expected in his first two preseason games with the Giants: Flashes of the talent that made him a second-round pick by the Jets in the 2013 draft mixed with the mind-numbing turnovers that ruined his four seasons with Gang Green. The rollercoaster continued on Monday night.

Smith had a prime opportunity to seize the backup job and he appeared to be on his way when he ran the offense smoothly after relieving Eli Manning. Smith engineered the Giants' best drive with a steady diet of safe passes early in the fourth quarter, but he threw a killer interception at the Browns' 4-yard line.

Coach Ben McAdoo was clearly unhappy with Smith's performance.

"He took a timeout in the fourth quarter that I didn't like. He threw an interception on the goal line which I didn't like," McAdoo said. "Those things stood out to me. Other than that, he played pretty good."
GRADE: D+

Smith erased all of his positive work with the terrible interception deep in Cleveland's territory. McAdoo's postgame remarks indicated that he won't have much patience for such mistakes going forward.

Giants were 11-5 last year, and made the playoffs for the first time since 2011. Their problems are much deeper than just the coach. They need an organizational overhaul, and to move on from the Eli era.

My day started out at noon when my 11 year niece got robbed of game-winning goal with about 15 seconds left in the game on a horrible call by the CR. And now this.

That has to be one of the worst calls I've ever seen in a Jets game.

Fact is, the Jets are a pretty good football team. We're going to beat Miami next weekend.

Still pissed over this game....That PI against Gronk was a joke and that TD getting called back was another joke...NFL is rigged. Truth is jets might not have superstars but they are solid and play as a team, if the D ever wakes the hell up and get to the QB and stop the run they can beat some of these teams that looked like L's earlier(ATL,CAR,NO,)

The way I see it going

@MIA W
ATL- not sure abiut this one
BUF W
@TB W
CAR W
KC-L
@DEN-L
@NO-W
SD-W
@NE-L

This team will get to 9-7 or 10-6 and I'm fine with it, apt of money in the o ffseason their is cousins or brees or they can draft a fuy.....add some off so be weapons(need one big time WR) and an edge rusher. Jets are closer than ppl think, they just don't have the huge names BUT they play as a team

nah we gonna be around 6 wins at the end of the year but its very rare we get beat over the top... I think that Gronk PI, and cooks deep toss were two of the few deep plays against us all year..secondary has been solid with 0 pass rush

Not only was the TD negated, but it was somehow - unbeknownst to me - a turnover? WTF.

NIce job by McCagnan and Bowles this offseason and to the players who busted their tails.
