Draft Order
Draft Rules:
1. Any player who is on an active roster for the 2017-18 season will be available for selection.
2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players.
3. The winner of the draft will be determined by rankings at the end of the 2017-18 season, based on a combination of the individual player performances over the course of the season and the cohesiveness/fit of the team as a whole.
4. On two dates to be specified later, you will have the opportunity to replace one of your draft picks with an undrafted player. The first of these dates will be around the end of the calendar year (probably January 2), and the other will be sometime after the trade deadline. We will make these picks in a draft format. The first waiver draft will be in the inverse order of the first round of the regular draft (i.e. the A pickers will become B pickers and vice versa) and the second will revert to the original order. If you don't wish to make a change you can ask to be skipped. These will be your only chances to make a roster change, so use them wisely.
5. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBBABAB
6. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.
7. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT.
8. Draft order will be completely randomised.
9. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.
