spent 90 minutes today in MRI machine. got my final diagnosis but still without biopsy (obviously, it's in my head). I am getting referred to OHSU and my doc is still very hopeful that it will be benign. the lesion is 11 mm by 12 mm. a bit larger than a square centimeter.

interestingly tho, I found the MRI machine to be very serene and peaceful. all the electronic noises were very techno music-ish, and the slight warmth you feel at the exact place they scan is a bit weird, but not bad at all. I really had a great time in it. no lie.

That noise is awful.

I got used to it after like 5 minutes but serene?

The series going 7. I dunno how much of a benefit that is to us.

Keuchel and Verlander are set for Games 1 and 2 on normal rest.

Tanaka and Severino are set for games 1 and 2.

Both bullpens get 2 days off.

We will just be “more rested.”

For the most part, Amen.

In addition....
Reading that all those Royals are hitting free agency just pissed me off at how the new qualifying offer rules ends up **** the less wealthy franchises worse.

We got Will Smith and Jordan Sheff from our FIRST round compensatory picks. The Royals will get 2nd rounders.

I honestly think Howie Kendrick was the last straw. A fringe player that would obviously have been signed if not for a 1st round pick being attached to him but I would not have changed the whole rule to accomodate him. It’s worse that the Royals lose here than it is for Howie to be sitting in the cold waiting to be signed.

the radiologist gave me a pair of high quality ear plug, so the sound wasn't that loud for me. I was trying to figure out the exact pitch each time the sounds changed. I was damn sure one of them, probably mid way through the whole that that lasted 3 minutes was on the note of B. but others were coming and going. a few times there were 3 separate sounds, one was repeating its same pattern in a percussive manner, and the other two seemed to stay in harmony the entire time. maybe 4 minutes? I just closed my eyes and enjoyed the ride. although the same radiologist got my vein too well, felt my blood splatter a bit on my left arm, then I heard her "well? sometimes I am not sure if I got the vein, but I have no doubt with you!" and spent a couple of minutes wiping my arm down. glad I wasn't watching.

+20 was the NLCS alone, but yeah it was a heck of a couple of series so far.

the crazier thing is, we are not done. we still have 4 more games to win, and the run differential can lead up to the best of all time.

to add,

the WS's best run differential was 2001 D Backs at +23. we top that just by 1, we can tie the R/D of all time through the entire post season. we top that by 2, we take the cake away from the 2007 RedSox who crushed through the WS with +19 R/D.
ehhhhh f it.

man, if we do have Corey as DH in Yankee stadium, knowing the pitcher will be CC, my lineup would be

1 R CF Taylor
2 R 3B Turner
3 L 1B Bellinger
4 R RF Puig
5 R LF ****
6 L DH Seager
7 R 2B Forsythe
8 R C Barnes
9 R SS Culberson

so that when a righty reliever comes in, Ethier/Utley/Farmer are all ready to pinch hit and we acn flip Seager back on defense and use Culberson's spot for Granders.... oh nevermind.

well let's see what our lineup should look like against the Asstros.

Dallas Keuchel will start Tuesday.
Verlander will be the game 2 starter.
Morton/Lance McCullers are possible game 3 starters.

did you guys catch it yet?

Dallas Keuchel is the only lefty and he has to go against Kershaw. rest are all righties.

only Francisco Liriano is a lefty out of the pen.

there is a major hole in Houston's pitching staff. I am sure Andrew and Co sees what I see.

That’s awful.
That means Granderson and Utley are going to play.

We gotta find Houston another lefty...fast.

They have solid middle relief but AJ Hinch doesnt trust them.

you should think the opposite. we can use our worst hitters as baits to bring out their lone lefty out of pen to waste him. Ethier should be the primary left handed pinch hitter when Liriano is wasted. AND the game 1 will sport ****/Barnes/Logan/Culberson in the lineup.

What a job by Houston.

Can you believe that Houston offered Friedman the job some time before Stan Kasten was able to woo him into Dodger Blue?

I love this for the Dodgers.
I love this for the city of Houston.
I love it for baseball...two of the sports most forward thinking franchises will duke it out for the WS.

Won’t Seager n Belly lure him out anyway?

hmmm Im sorry I can't share the same sentiment.

Houston is a great basketball town, with rich history of (H)Akeem and the back to back championship Rockets that featured Sam Cassel and Robert Horry along with guys like Xavier. it is also a great football town that had Warren Moon and the spread offense with standard 4 WRs on every down. what it isn't, is being a baseball town.

wished another Dodger vs Yanks series.

we got the JV opponent in terms of history, but the best legit opponent in terms of 2017 record.

whatever, we are gonna win it all.
