A player I'd take a hard look at if he becomes available is Dario Saric.
He's the type of talent with All-Star potential who it would be worth taking a gamble on.
In his final 30 games of the season last year after he hit his stride, he averaged 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assist on 45% shooting in 30 minutes per game.
But now that the Sixers have Ben Simmons added to the mix as the Co-face of the franchise with Embiid, Saric's minutes are down and he's been relegated to a bench role. As point forward types, Simmon's and Saric's games are similar so it makes more sense for philly to play Covington beside Simmons at the 3 than Saric.
Dario's 23 years old, has multiple years left on his rookie contract and is equally adept at playing both forward spots. The kid's a great teammate, crafty scorer, can handle and pass the ball and is an improving outside shooter.
He'd likely be a pricey trade acquisition, because Philly has seen what he can do, but they may consider parting with him for players who are more complementary to their core, and/or picks. I'd consider taking a flier on him and plugging him in at SF. He could take some of the wing scoring burden off Kemba and really blossom
