We have no idea what Allen will become, only 3 games in and he only really played in 2, but... watching him play like this at just 19 years of age and it's flabbergasting how he dropped to 22. I mean if he never improved a lick other than his stamina and strength and getting just a hair smarter where he can play 25+ mpg, you're looking at an average NBA starter who fits the modern NBA game at the 5 like a glove.

I think if we played him against the pacers, we would have won.

While he was on the floor the rim was closed for business. Was awesome seeing him stick with Schroeder (one of the faster guys in the league). He gets low, moves his feet and is patient.

He's a little stone handed. Collins by comparison has magnets for hands. He's gotta open up those hands, be ball ready.

My 9 1/2 year old daughter idolises caris, rondae, booker and now she has added Jarret to to her list. After the display he has put in the first 2 games. She was jumping around my lounge saying "get that sugar honey ice tea outta here!" lol. The game was played at 6.30am monday morning Australian time. She was up watching the game before me! What have I created! I hope he continues to improve and impress! Some gm's need to have a good look at themselves how did he drop to 22?????

Ironically I meant to mention that I thought he has great hands. He's caught some low bounce and shovel passes on the move in traffic that left me quite impressed.

He also makes himself big instead of small vs gaurds...

when lopez would be switch on a gaurd he would get in this low crouch, making himself like 6'6" instead of 7'1". made it easier for gaurds to finish. Allen moves well but stays long with hands high

Catching passes he's fine. I meant more on the loose ball and in rebounding situations. The ball seems to get away from him.

“Just go out there and be the energy guy. All I want to do is run around, block shots and get some dunks,” Allen said with a grin. “That’s my role right now, and if I can stick to that, we have a good chance of winning.”

Who is this kid, and what did the Nets do to deserve him? :)
