I don't recall the job he did with the Marlins, but I recall they won it. He's not leaving the Yankees for the Mets though, if he leaves the Yanks at all. I gotta believe they'll offer him another extension.

I like the thought of Joe McEwing or Alex Cora. Whoever it'll be will have to agree to do whatever Sandy tells him to. Sandy likes these bland manager types.

Excuse me. I'm looking for Wingo. Has anybody seen him? Possibly he's been posting in the Yankees thread again?

True.

I've also been text-torturing my Yankees fan friends over Girardi. And now I get to do again for potentially another 7 games. That is unless the dufus in the WH starts WWIII.

Have you considered attending an Antifa Anonymous meeting? I hear they're good.

No. I'm renewing my membership instead. :P

As for the Skankees, NO MORE FUN. They're beginning to get a little full of themselves again. Now I have to go find my pin. :x

So it's sounding like its going to be Acta, allegedly we're trying to wrap this up before the weekend is up. He's been less than stellar with his stops in Washington and Cleveland, but those teams were brutal. Hard to really know if it's a good signing, but he's been around the block and been around some great names.

Acta has this guy's full endorsement

He's familiar to the Wilpons, so it's not surprising. He was a hot commodity when he left the Mets.

Mike Callaway is your new Mets manager. He was the guy I wanted for this team. I'm hoping he revives the Dark Knight.

Was thinking the same about him reclamating Harvey ... and Matz ... and Wheeler. I hope he has the stomach for this.

Anyhow, I like the pick. He was my next choice after Cora. Good move to get new blood into the organization especially one with an expertise in pitching. I just hope Sandy and the Wilpons work with him and let him choose his own staff, within reason.

Mets zigged when everyone thought they would zag, going with Callaway. On paper I like getting a pitching coach just because of our current roster and there are a ton of positive signs of the job he did in Cleveland. Hopefully now we will give him some defenders in the field to actually bring out the best of our staff.

i'm so thrilled with callaway, the idea of having your closer pitch the 9th won't be a thing anymore.

you could lose a game in the 5th inning, because of callaway the indians used their bullpen differently.

If we would have waited we could have had Girardi.

why?

yankees organization hated him for not adjusting, same reason why mets were fed up with terry.

mickey is a new school manager.

do you not understand the mets hiring mickey callaway is better than hiring girardi?

they hired a new school manager while girardi joins dusty baker and john farrell as managers who got fired in october despite their teams being good for years and being in the playoffs.

but all 3 have something in common, their old school managers.

Calling Girardi an old school manager shows how little you know of the Yankees Bno. His nickname was literally clipboard because he was so dependent on analytics. He's out as Manager because of his intensity.
Brooklyn Nets
Damian Lillard - Rajon Rondo - Trey Burke
Victor Oladipo - Wes Matthews - Javon Carter
Caris LeVert - Derrick Jones Jr. - Glenn Robinson III
Andre Igoudala - Killian Tillie - Trey Lyles

Lol, go read a report from anyone close to the Yankees. He ran a tight dugout and his intensity rubbed players off the wrong way.
