Visibly does it on defense too. I haven't seen a lot of point guards with his vision period, let alone at so young.

One of my favorite plays of the night was one where Frank got into the lane and was wide open for a little pullup but expected coverage so he kinda froze. His game plan had been pass. It was a mistake but like "wow, I didn't know my own strength" sort of mistake that will soon be a bunny for him.

This is the *kind of pg* I want running our team, because his desire to make the team play better will help us win more than the PG who needs to score a lot (we had him last year, right?) even if the offense suffers overall. And certainly better than the PGs we had with no discernible skills (we had them) or who got fat on our team, or who had too little intelligence to run the team.

So let's see how far Frank can go, but he is the right type of guy for our team at the point.

Zingis, Frank, Willy.

Looks like Phil really got an unfair treatment here.

All 3 picks (one as a trade) will turn out to be some of the best signings for any GM within a 2 year span.

I wonder what a triangle would look like with them as well? Zingis deadly from that elbow, Willy great passer, Frank too.

Can you blame him for wanting to get rid of Melo?

Phil is a hero

He got us 3 excellent young pieces, put us in position to get a 4th, and ultimately led to Melo leaving, even if it came at the cost of his position as president of basketball operations. Best position the franchise has been since the Ewing days.

mad respekt for phil. He sacrificed himself for the Knicks. He is literally Knicks Jesus...wow

Eloquent and inspiring words, and I'm sure Phil feels the same.

Had a great time time tonight... Knicks finally won, Kristaps scored 30 again, and Frank looked good. Timmy continued to suck but whatever. F*ck the Nets.

Kp was good tonight. Looks like he had his mind made up with every move and he took advantage. Shot the ball well too and got the win. Good night for him

This just the beginning what is possible. I really don't want to trade Kyle. He adds so much energy and passing to the team.

Exactly. Made quicker, more decisive moves with the ball soon after he got it. Hornacek pointed it out in the PG. Melo's influence.

I missed the game live but hot damn! That is a lot of smart plays on both ends of the ball. I'm glad we can finally end the "is he a point guard" nonsense. **** me if this kid isn't obviously a winner.
