Re: PG Thread: FRANK GANG GANG UNITE - 'Remi Bomb: Pg 13
KP and Frank looked really awesome today.
But one player that was overlooked is Jack. He looked gazillion times better than Sessions and actually played team ball and set others up in good spots as well.
That being said Frank really impressed me with his court vision/playmaking and already elite level D.

Well done frank
Just a game but he show his skills and calm the sceptics.
Remember in June when I said you this guy is not a SG (because somes guys think he's a future SG) but a true PG and you can see this now, : IQ , Fundamentals, defense, he play for the team, really perfert skills we need in PG position. Some of his assists was beaufitul against the nets the assit at 1m20 in the video
). So probably he will never be as spectacular as Smith JR but he will be efficient like a real true PG.
Now, he just a game and we saw his potential so we need to keep calm, and for sure patient, because he will have somes good and bad games during the season and it's always a stud. We just need to continue his development and in my opinion scoring is not the priority to develop now for him, just let him play D and organize the offense this year.
Frank need time to progress and develop his potential and us we need to add a doncic or porter in the squad to have a very interesting future.

He didn't need to calm anyone, people are so stupid man. He has barely played and he's 19. We need to call out our dumb fans and expose the trolls.

We still gotta be patient with these guys. I remember last year, guys were hating on KP, and not willing to give him a chance to lead the offense. He looks good now, but we gotta stay committed to his growth, when he's doing well and killing players, and when he screws up. It's all gonna be a growing opportunity for him.
We're gonna have to do the same with Frank. Yah, he looks good now, because it's his first flash and we love our rookies. But what happens when the games get hard and Frank's weaknesses get a little exposed? In those cases, just gotta be patient and realize that it takes a while before young players really take that next leap; in the meantime, it gets a little ugly. Same for this year. I think KP will probably have a few ugly games, but I'm okay with that. That's rebuilding.
The good thing is guys like KP and Frank seem to do a great job of motivating themselves.

What I liked the most about this performance was how active he was on defense. I imagine that there will be times where he gets burned, but his iq man. It's just wow.
He definitely has the raw ability to be an all NBA defender and DPOY. It's exciting. What excited me the most was seeing the effect he seems to have on his teammates and perhaps even the coach. It seems his focus and attitude are infectious.

I was still impressed myself. He should start by Xmas, if not before.
Where are the dummies who said he’s a SG ?
He’s looking like Rondo with a good character and a jump shot. He made instant impact when the Nets were toying with these guys in the first quarter. We looked like in Boston early on, and Frank stopped the bleeding. Found Lee for the open three, KOQ twice inside, you can tell his heart was beating hard, but he found his range in the 2nd half.
On a side note, Porzingis reminded me of a young Ewing tonight with the post moves. Gotta give him lot of credit for three 30 pts games in the first 4 games. Even Ewing never did that.
Can’t believe Frank made it look so easy and we won by 20 with Hardaway still stinking up.
Hardaway should benefit from Frank when they start together, but i’d like to see Frank, Lee and McDermot starting, with Kanter & KP up front.
This season may be fun after all. Gotta hope they all stay healthy.
A switch seems to have turned on for KP. He's more aggressive and seems to really believe he's one of the better player's in the league now. I'd like to see how he reacts to continuing to getting tested more though.

I can't say enough how excited I am for the future. We waited MONTHS to see this kid play. All of the hype/hope/hate has been answered to some extent. He looks like a solid pick with high upside. No one can look at this game and think anything else. No normal person at least.
Jeff has been reading this forum. He did everything we have been talking about. He coached a very good game tonight. He played all of the kids except Baker(ankle injury).
I don't know where they learned defense all of a sudden but, that was a solid team effort. Frank had a lot to do with that. I am stunned at the effort they played with tonight. Jeff holding Kanter accountable sent a message too. Nice job.
KP looks ready to be the man. Really having a great season so far. Can't say I'm pleased enough at this. I had some reservations about him being able to be the man. He is proving to be a solid stud.
FMFNB! PMFJB! Frank/Baker/Dotson/KP/Billy are all Phil Jacksons doing. He traded Timmy away so...that needs mentioning too.Keeping all our 1sts. Driving Melo out. This rebuild is all his doing. He was bad at almost every aspect of his job. I am glad he is gone. I have to give him credit as the best FO to date since Dolan has been involved. Best drafts in decades. Best handling of our picks. Left the team in the best shape since the Ewing draft.
The process is just beginning. We appear to have a solid foundation to build on moving forward. Jeff has to prove he's worth keeping. The development of these kids is all he should be focused on this year. After thosr first 3 horrible games, this was a good sign moving forward. Hope to keep improving.
Phil also hired Jeff and tried to trade KP which is why he got fired. Let's not forget that.
I liked the Jeff hire. He's on thin ice with me but, if he can get this kind of effort and play the kids instead of the bum vets...I'm ok with him. He did a decent job getting minutes to the kids tonight. He didn't ride KP either. If he doesn't let these kids run...even when losing....I'll get back to you on Jeff.
Like I said...he was bad at every aspect of his job except the draft. This rebuild has his fingerprints all over it. With all of the lunacy that was Phil...the team is in a great position going forward. This is the best job any FO has ever done. It's funny...but true. Glad he's gone. Hoping Perry is competent.
Last night was arguably the first night I've seen Jeff look like an actual credible coach since he's been with the Knicks. Maybe some good stuff is happening behind closed doors. If so we should give him a fair shot.

I'm not basing the following comment on Frank having a decent game, but Sessions seems to me like he's getting cut. I'm making this comment for I think the 4th time, but it doesn't get that much traction. Anyway, I think the Knick's coaching staff is pretty disappointed in Session's PG abilities and what he has to offer as a mentor. I get that Noah is out, so Knicks have 12 regular season games and preseason to try out a player. But the player they decided to try out in Jack, when they signed Sessions, had drafted Frank, have Baker. Now, if it was Burke they were giving time to, for example, it would be they are using the spot on a young pro to kick the wheels etc. But in preseason they were practically forcing the minutes on Jack and they continue to give him minutes in the season. Ok, Frank was banged up, but doesn't make sense if it's injury depth temporarily. It's telling that they took the opportunity Noah's suspension gave them to try another vet PG. It means the vet PG they signed hasn't impressed them with his "veteran-ness".
I see Sessions getting cut once Noah comes back

I think this is going to happen, sort of.
Frank gets 25-28 mpg, Jack gets 12-14, Ron gets 5-10

Seems a winning game thread is still much less pages than those losses.

Agree with you but you know even in France we have a big part of our fanbase which are impatient and want to trade him against bledsoe for example...

Re: PG Thread: FRANK GANG GANG UNITE - 'Remi Bomb: Pg 13
Work nights so I havent watched the game yet, based on the comments im reading, im going to replay the game asap.
Knicks have been a pretty boring team to watch those first 3 games. Players were already going through the motions. KP has been the only one worth tuning in for. In a way Timmy as well since I wanted to see if he would be worth the investment, but he continues to be pretty much terrible. 4 games, 4 duds.
I didnt have many expectations with Frank since he was the only prospect I didnt know much about. Wasnt really able to go in depth into his scouting reports/videos on the internet. I definitely didnt hate the pick, thought it was the safe pick. I was always defending the pick with my co-workers. They all kept saying how the Knicks were fools for passing up on Dennis Smith Jr, but there are people on this board who I very much value their opinion, so i entrusted in Frank being able to prove the doubters wrong and told them the kid will turn out to be just fine.
