I want Frank because if his shot is not falling he can affect the game defensively WITHOUT the ball. Yes I am being a super homer.

Let me live.

it's the 4th game! people freaking already need to chill.

The only issue I got with him right now is his shot selection. He’s not helping himself by taking long distance off balance shots and contested jumpers. I think a coach needs to sit down with him and have a film session. It’s ok to try and shoot yourself out of a slump but you gotta take better attempts than this. Some of these shots he’s taking would be lucky makes if he wasn’t in a slump.

But one player that was overlooked is Jack. He looked gazillion times better than Sessions and actually played team ball and set others up in good spots as well.

That being said Frank really impressed me with his court vision/playmaking and already elite level D.

I'm not basing the following comment on Frank having a decent game, but Sessions seems to me like he's getting cut. I'm making this comment for I think the 4th time, but it doesn't get that much traction. Anyway, I think the Knick's coaching staff is pretty disappointed in Session's PG abilities and what he has to offer as a mentor. I get that Noah is out, so Knicks have 12 regular season games and preseason to try out a player. But the player they decided to try out in Jack, when they signed Sessions, had drafted Frank, have Baker. Now, if it was Burke they were giving time to, for example, it would be they are using the spot on a young pro to kick the wheels etc. But in preseason they were practically forcing the minutes on Jack and they continue to give him minutes in the season. Ok, Frank was banged up, but doesn't make sense if it's injury depth temporarily. It's telling that they took the opportunity Noah's suspension gave them to try another vet PG. It means the vet PG they signed hasn't impressed them with his "veteran-ness".

I see Sessions getting cut once Noah comes back

Hope you're right. Because Ramon has played awful basketball so far. Forcing up ill-advised shots while much better options (KP and others) are in a position to score.

Every time I saw him play, I got flashbacks of Rose, minus the actual scoring and highlight plays. So basically an even worse version of Rose.

I get a text from my brother saying Frank is the truth. I do a quick score scan and my first thought is wtf happened to the tank. Then I see his final numbers and I am just like lol 9pts 5asts 3tos. GTFO with he is the truth ****.

I get home watch the highlights within 10 seconds I see the pass he made to Kyle and yell oh **** as I do when a sick dunk/play happened live and got all hyped.

I just saw his defensive video too. The kid was injured in that first game. Because he looked like a damn veteran outthere. So composed. Smooth as hell. So cerebral. The plays he made. My goodness.

My first thought after watching his offense and defense highlights was "we got the best player in the draft".

And with that who wants to serve me my crow?

PS. Our tank is ****. This is why we can't have nice things.

You owe me an apology. We went at it the last 3 months with Frank and you called me a homer x1,000 times.

I was wrong about Frank but you still a homer. We good?

No. I want an apology. How am I a homer when my rep on this board for a decade was being a pessimist? I was IN on Frank from December of last year to the point that him and Fox were known as my guys. So, naah, I want an apology, and we good. If not, you still sus.

Still waiting for SavageKnick and all of the other idiots who kept **** on Frank.

Highlight of the night was Frank passing the ball so he wouldn't get the turnover when the shot clock expired.

Good to feel positive about the team going forward after the eye test on FN. He's heady.
Would be great If they could add another high pick this year though.

That being said anybody notice KP come up a little lame after his steal and dunk towards the end of the game?
Hope it was just cramps and not the achilles.

Also can anyone who can rewatch the game confirm whether or not FN was being fitted for a knee brace before he came in. Think I saw it when Kanter was taken out and camera followed him to the bench?

Yeh I noticed the same thing with KP after that dunk but I think it was more of a fatigue thing because he kinda smiled at somebody when he got back on defense and continued to play for a few for minutes. The smile he gave was as if he knew the dunk wasn't what the crowd was hoping for... idk

And yes, I saw one if the trainers put on a right knee brace a few minutes after the game started. I seemed it was one of those knee braces with cushion, maybe to protect his knee just in case he bumps that knee again.

Thanks.
Yeah I thought KP was ok too, but when he was coming off the floor after that he picked his left leg up and down like stretching something out. Hopefully its good.

people said it was lance asking for the ball so it wouldn't count towards Frank's stats, but i saw it as Frank saying, "nah, you take that turnover."

What's more, we're on a path to having a fun and modern team to watch. We might finally not be behind the curve. If they can get another draft pick by trading vets we could have a fresh starting lineup next year.

PG: 3pt shooter
SG: Ntilikina
SF: Doncic
PF: P&R guy / rebounder
C: Porzingis

That’s the dream. Although it is a bit surprising you still want Frank at SG.

It's what he is. He's more Andre Igoudala than Andre Miller. He's a very methodical person, he thinks everything through. He knows they presented him as a PG of the future so that's the role he's playing right now. That's why he's hesitant to look for his own shot.

Irving and Wall might be available. 2018 and 2019 drafts dont have elite PG.

A longer Jrue with better defense and playmaking is a borderline all-star if you ask me. His playmaking looks like he hails from the Batum/Diaw line in France.. Jrue isn't on that level so his upside is much higher. But skill wise, definitely comparable.

Iggy was an elite ball handler/athlete and a terrible shooter. Frank isnt that. I dont see the comparison.

One game where the team played really well and got the win. We can live with it, as the W still wont come along all that often.
