I think you guys might be slightly missing the point. Anyone can prefer to dress nice. But there is only one self styled "Fashion King" publishing books about his style. It says a lot about Westbrook and what he values and how he wants to conduct himself.

Come on. Have some perspective. I'm really pissed at him but Westbrook has always been a exemplary professional. He can make mistakes and I don't know what he's doing right now, but all teammates used to say how crazy it was to see him training all the time. Dude is a hard worker.

Has he? Has he really? He's old enough at this point that he shouldn't be doing stuff like throwing little Tantrums like he did last night when he went on the two crazy drives to the hoop to try and get the ref to blow whistle for him after he didn't get the foul call at midcourt and then laid on the floor like a fool for a good 30 seconds and we had to call timeout just so he could try and prove his point. Stuff like that it hurts the team. And he's old enough to know better and he's the franchise Cornerstone at this point and I think it's okay to expect more of him.

You know last year was different, we could just enjoy the spectacle that was the season of Westbrook last year cuz we knew we weren't actually going to win anything of any significance. This year we theoretically have a good enough roster we could at least make the Conference Finals but we can only do that if these guys play up to their potential and it's going to be really sad if they don't and if they waste what otherwise could be a special season here.

I'm not talking about the fact that he has been terrible on the floor and that he really needs to know how to play smarter and look at what he has been doing so far this year. I'm just saying he's a true professional player in the meaning that he's 100% committed to his team/sport and he works harder than most NBA players. So it's bull**** to criticize the fact that he has a book about fashion.
He has flaws and I'm not denying how pissed I'm with the way he's playing, but this has nothing to do with lack of commitment.

Yes? I mean of literally anything you could say about Russ this is one unequivocally undeniable fact, hes a pro and works his tail off. Its a strange point to even reach

I'm just saying, what sort of pro gets this into it? He clearly is all about superficial image bull ****. Same reason he goes for all these highlight reel steels instead of just playing sounds defense.

Being a pro is more than just adequate practicing and preparation.

I could probably go through every made 3 by Portland and find stuff like this. This is not gonna cut it, not in the slightest. They talk about challenging the Warriors. We would lose by 70 with this kind of effort.

I really hate S.Adams hanging outside of paint.
He's not intimidating outside of the pain. He's not a good perimeter defender.
I never want S.Adams to contest anything outside of paint especially outside of 3pt line.

When Adams is outside of the paint:
*Guards getting either baskets or foul calls when they drive.
*We either give off. rebounds or we cant take rebounds clear enough to push the ball.

On many instances I would rather see an opponent taking not contested shot than Adams contested shot.

The bench is keeping it close against 'good' teams, not our main guys. Russ-George-Melo has been outscored by almost 17 points per 100 possessions in those losses. Meanwhile the bench outscored the opponent by 40 points per 100 possessions.

Without the bench playing that well, we'd have gotten a good smacking in every single one of those games.

Good thing the bench is part of the team then & it's not just those 3 guys. Which again even with those numbers it's 9 games in, they'll figure each other out & it'll get better

It matters that our supposedly best lineup is getting blown out in those games. When the starters are not working, you have a problem.
