He can do the dirty work... Yes..

Too bad Kanter can't play defense

I disagree. He isn't a revolving door like many other players in this league. He's not a defensive center but his effort is there and he's made great plays on that end to help out. He has lapses...so does everyone.

Point is....we need a big physical guy next to KP that can do the dirty work and score OR defend. Kanter scores...and isn't as bad defensively as people claim. He's a beast down low. Tough...gritty player. Improved his game since being here. Loves the team and hates the enemy!

Keeper in my book.

this is what i've been saying. knicks need an environmental change. was hoping noah and lee would've done it. looks like just need melo to be ousted, and now it's fun to watch this team compete, win or loss.

i'm now a fan of kanter.

My dude I been airing this cat out all day because of his BS.

Real talk, I never wish no ill will on a player but this d!ckhead is about due for a major injury.

I think the possibilities are better if he stays healthy.

Imagine if he stays healthy and misses the playoffs. Or if he stays healthy and be eliminated by Kyrie (or the Knicks but let's focus on making the playoffs first) in the playoffs. We all know he'd get eviscerated by the warriors but im tired of LeDickriders talking up his finals appearances.

I didn't used to believe it but aside from skills and abilities certain guys can change the personality of a team. How they respond to adversity affects the group. Kanter is one of those guys in the right direction. We've now got a few that just hate to lose.

Melo would've been sitting on the scorers table as all of this unfolded.

The part with KP and the sleeve he wore for the first time is kind of important. He may ditch it because who knows if it impacted his shot. It seems like it definitely didn't help.

Man, I wish Joakim Noah could get back to his old self. Two guys with anti-LeBron mentality 8-)

Kanter has won me over this week. He is clearly the heart and soul of this Knicks roster and because of that will always have soft spot even with his defensive miscues.

All I know is that Lebron's social media is gonna be blown up with Arthur memes when he loses in the finals again.

He's a bama at his core. Small town dudes have a bug up their azz about NY. The general board is full of them.

You just never know what you'll get from a trade. I didn't care for Kanter when the trade first happened, but he loves NY so much and is helping change the culture that he's too important. His offensive game from the post and offensive rebounds are great.

I've always said I loved Westbrook's demeanor and approach to the game. It sucks to many guys want to smile and be a cuck all the time on the floor. Westbrook doesn't do that **** and if we can have everyone on the team getting some of that mindset it's great for our future.

I get the feeling Frank is a competitor like that too. He'll never say it in an interview but he was deeply offended by Lebron and his pride took over. Which is why he was eager to initiate that shoving match with Lebron. And which is why the loss burned him to the point of just walking the phucc out of there. I welcome that type of pride and passion. He gave a phucc. He had no worries about wanting to endear or ingratiate himself to Lebiotch.

Main reason some posters don't like Enes is he's taking Willy's shine, and rightfully so. Willy has talent, but he's soft with no energy. He's gonna have to get nasty if he wants to make it in this league.

Enes looks better on defense this year because of his weight loss. Some numbers I read today seem to back that up. He's obviously not perfect, and not someone I would want to give some crazy contract to just yet, but he's what I grew up thinking being a Knick was. He has a place here long term, for the right price. Guy is a load.
