Say what you want about Kanter he's come in with a great attitude and has worked on his deficiencies. He's also been a great teammate so far.

Now it is... he's sticking up for his teammates, the team and the city, it's time we get his back, too....

....even if his defense is still inconsistent.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Absolutely.

His strengths far out way his weaknesses on the court.

But to me, as a person and representative of the Knicks franchise is where Enes really stands out...

His love for community
His approach to his profession
His love and respect for his teammates and his jersey
His humbleness and willingness to continue learning and improving

Enes seems like a great person who is easy to root for...

I'm a big fan of 00.

Absolutely love his approach. He's a super likable teammate and he's even trying on D. Honestly right now I would be completely ok with signing a longer term deal with him.

The Melo trade would not be a mistake even if we lose every game left.

Kanter the top RPM leader on the team and 36th in the league. Take from it what you will.

not saying i dislike kanter, but the there are major flaws with RPM

one of them is the is the fact that is primarily based on box score numbers. a player that fills up the box score with empty stats will benefit more than a player with bigger impact from defense and/or "intangibles"

notice how some of the worst defenders have the best RPM? 4 of the top 5 is harden curry jokic cousins all mediocre defenders at best. horford is top 5 probably because the celtics have been playing at a very high level recently.

not saying the stat is garbage but it has very big flaws. this is the type of state to say lebron has james johnson or otto porter level impact lol

true.

except kanter has shown he gives a ****, changes his game for the team, gets better when he's been benched by the coach, tries on defense, hustles up the court, brings a mentality that is more likely to produce winning/respect, gets in the face of a douchebag in order to protect/defend a teammate.

but other than that, they're the same

Don't forget that he doesn't abide by losing and doesn't want to be friends with the opposing teams players.

It's really incredible how this trade is paying off. Lets be honest, no one here thought we got any value for Melo. Two somewhat young role players who have been in the league 4+ years and an early 2nd round pick...this looked like a desperate man's trade.
