DAYUM!!! I kind of agree. I had Porter 1 for a while and when I thought about it, he really hasn’t played a legitimate game yet. I feel like I can’t even rank him yet, but I know his game so I have high hopes. I’m a little concerned with his body language on defense though. At times it seems like he doesn’t even care to play defense.

I hope he isn't trying to hide himself for the season. This isn't the draft to do that and it'd be difficult to see him cracking top 4/5 with no data.

A school spokesman told ESPN he was in the trainer's room, watching the game and icing his leg.

Do we know what exactly he was icing, what kind of injury is it? I think it's a bit weird if information is not available, it's not NBA playoffs.

I'd be scared to draft him in the top 5 now.

If he declares someone will still take him top 10 guarantee, maybe even top 5. Too bad. I wonder will he take money or risk staying another year. I know he said he would like to stay, but that was when he was healthy and his career wasnt on the line.

Heartbreaking, man.

If he's reasonably healthy by the combine next year, he still goes top 10.

Big picture. I hope he is looking at a full recovery. Spinal injuries are no joke.

For microdiscectomy surgery, what's the track record of the recovery of NBA players with this injury? Last year, P.J. Tucker did it, came back and been the same player for the most part. But Dwight Howard seemed to lose his athletic ability and has been fried every since. He lost his speed, quickness, and agility.

So that’s what he meant when he said he would stay for more than one year in Missouri.

I doubt he would stay in college. From P.J. Tucker. He did it in September and came back in at the beginning of the season.

This injury isn't that serious, he's out for 3-4 months, just very unlucky it happened in November, he will be back in March so I guess he will be in full shape on workouts.

He's still top5 prospect, just sad we won't see him in college.
