It's boring, why would you want to watch a game with lesser athletes and ability than the G leagues?

Unfortunately, women's sports does not seem to get much love in the world. If only there was more interest, we'd have more revenues, which would allow the teams to pack arenas and consequently allow players to actually get paid.

It may be a while for that to happen though. And NBA teams can't continue to let WNBA play with crowds of 8,000 or less. They've been bleeding money for almost two decades now

WNBA is boring af. would rather watch high school basketball d league etc. would rather watch a pickup game at the park

this is the type of **** you see in women's basketball

women's sports dont get as much love because the quality just isnt the same.

I see the Liberty as more of a distraction to our ultimate goals of the corporation.

I think the perceived payoff is that it has helped engage women and families in the sport.

Exactly. The NBA is a very progressive league and the WNBA is a product of that. Its going to be a hard sell though.

The Liberty is not a money maker. Although MSG wants to sell, there's not going to be a lot of buyers interested.

The Liberty are worth 3 billion?

Does the sale include a piece of MSG, some stake in the Rangers, and maybe Radio City?

Is the WNBA all together even worth 3 billion?

Knicks alone...no MSG, no rangers/liberty...would command $5b right now.

The two posts above were talking about buying the Knicks. Knicks should fetch 3 billion at least.

We could buy the liberty with a week's worth of advertising income from this site

Who is willing to buy? Anyway the WNBA will end up being filled with "transgender" or "identify as a woman" male athletes who couldn't make in in the men's game.

Sarcasm? This would actually be worse for their views even less people would watch them if they came on the same time as the nba
