Beat the Warriors draft (99 on) - Draft thread

Post#1 » by Dr Positivity » Sat Nov 18, 2017 7:32 pm

Draft Rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1998-1999 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1998 but the season you choose can't be before 1998-1999.

2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players.

3. You will draft teams not to match up against each other, but to defeat the 2016-2017 Golden State Warriors. All 2016-2017 Warriors and Steve Kerr are ineligible to be drafted.

4. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected. There is an 8 minute minimum for both the season selected and rotations.

5. The winner of the draft will be determined by rankings. You will rank teams according to who you believe has the best team to defeat the Warriors. You will not be voting on whether the team would really beat the Warriors, just which team matches up against them the best. After the champion is declared among us the winner will then be put to the test in a playoff thread against the Warriors.

6. You must state the specific season of the player you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page before the playoffs/rankings begin.

7. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 90.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.

8. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA

9. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.

10. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT. The clock will begin at 8 PM ET on Saturday, November 18th.

11. Draft order will be completely randomised.

12. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

Team Roster Page Rules:

You will be responsible for creating a roster page for your fantasy team. Here are the things that you will be required to include on your roster page:

. Players
. Rotations
. Draft selections
. The most important of all, you must show the total FGA per player on your roster AND a total sum of each players FGA to display that it is under the required 90.0 FGA

-All of the above must be completed before playoffs/rankings begin.

Theres a few different options I considered closely but aside from lebron I think this is the best guy available to have a shot against the Ws.

Give me Kawhi Leonard. 2017 version probably unless I need a few extra FGA down the road and switch to 16.

Man there are so many guys I want, but none left offer the level of two way play that this guy does, for as cheap as he does.

Dwight Howard

Why not go for broke, am I right?

I'll take one of the most expensive options available, but he's the only guy who can rival Curry at PG nowadays. Better defender too. But he's hella expensive. Oh boy.

Russell Westbrook
