Bagley is not going in the 2018 Draft I believe. I think the top 4 is set in stone. Still think if you pass on Doncic you look like a fool in 15 years when one team is ready to hang his jersey from the rafters.

Porter is DONE for the year. Don't know anything about this procedure or the implications but it sounds terrible.

Preliminary research: Fair to say he's only going #1 now if everyone else sucks.

Crazy about Porter. If he does declare, would he still be a top pick? That surgery sounds pretty serious.

Watch the Suns get our pick this year and Porter falls in the draft and they take him.

I would think he still goes in the 5-10 range.

I had a friend who had a microdisectomy. Then another. Somewhere before or after, there was also a fusion and significant other work. That is probably a horror story more than anything, and I certainly defer to our resident MDs (not Mickey) for a more substantive take on this, but yeah...that isn't a good thing.

Bump. I really like this as a draft site. Seems well written. Not a complete substitute for DX but its something.

I was wrong. Read something that was incorrect. Lack of good scouting websites means some real dumpster fires are out there.

He'd still go in the top 8 IMO, this draft falls off a cliff after the top 5. I'm super wary now of him though, I already had him comfortably as the worst of the "elite" prospects and a back injury is super scary. I just have visions of him coming back less athletic/stiffer, playing even less defense, and just gunning looking like Beasley.

I'm sure he'll even fall a bit more on my board as I see some guys who improved a lot and didn't have the initial high projection. Wouldn't be shocked (or think its wrong) to see Wendall Carter, the frosh C from MSU, or both Bridges to go ahead of him come June

I'm really surprised they still do this on young guys. I have no idea on his history, but many disc issues naturally resolve and indeed research is starting to suggest they may be reabsorbed over time.

It's a huge surgery, and will have implications for him in the future. Just a matter of when it's during his NBA career or not.

Texas vs Duke. This should be a good look at a bunch of lotto kids.
