They believed sessions Frank JACK could get it done. Most people knew that was a terrible idea

It's like Jerry Reese not fixing the offensive line for giants

If energy is the problem then we have to start using the energy guys more: Dotson, Baker, and Noah. They don't cheat you on effort.

Any reason Noah didn't make another appearance in the game? Being cautious with his comeback?

Incomplete roster full of kids. This is what you get. I'm enjoying the hell out of this season. I thought we were going to be horrible with 23 wins or so. We're not horrible. We are not great. We are rebuilding. This is what it looks like. Sometimes much worse.

In the end...win or lose...progress is the ultimate goal.

KP stepped up his game. Now that teams are beating him up...he's struggling to adjust. Patience.

Timmy has shown tremendous growth from when he was here last. Still growing but, not bad.

Kanter has been a pleasant surprise and is apparently the heart of this team. 0-3 without him is telling me I was wrong about him in preseason. I will eat that crow.

Doug is another pleasant surprise. Cool that he was taken with our pick and many wanted him.

Frank showed flashes. He's a project player as far as I'm concerned. My verdict on him is 2-3 years away at least. Not going to freak out game to game. Patience.

Billy hasn't impressed. Needs to get in rhythm. D League IMO. Until we figure out the logjam...he's going to continue to be odd man out unless he plays better. Patience

Dotson showed flashes. Need minutes. D League him too. Too many SG/SF in front of him. Patience.

Baker has been a ghost due to injury and Frank getting minutes. Need to see if he has anything to offer for that money people are so mad about. Hoping this is a rehab stint in Westchester. Losing patience...lol

Lee has been playing well and coaching these guys on the court.

Jack has been starting to lose his edge. Still a decent mentor to have but...Baker and Frank need to take those minutes eventually. Almost toast.

Sessions is a waste of roster spot.

Noah is a waste of roster space and cap space. Hope he's helping Kanter improve on D. Someone did. Ugh. NO PATIENCE.

MFLFT is whatever. LOL

I'm enjoying most of what I'm seeing. Win/win. We have a safety net. When the deadline gets closer...maybe it makes sense to trade Lee/KOQ...whatever...shut KP(elbow procedure) down and play all the kids and go 10 day shopping. Bring up Burke or whatever.

62 games left. Buckle up. Going to be a bumpy ride.

Does that trade make sense for OKC? I think Kanter would start but...would that lineup be the first time we started 5 players selected with OUR 1st rd picks? 4 drafted by us? I would sign up all day for that. Scenario. True rebuild.

We should worry about future more than play off spot. Try to get picks for players who won't be part of the future. It would help tanking hard as well.

Get a coach who favors defense & playing "right way" over offense in these growing years Get some good development coaches and mentors.

Most important thing is how our young players develops at the moment. Even our unicorn is flawed player at the moment.

i think that's just who he is

he's streaky

I can understand the hot and cold streaks shooting (to a certain extent) so long as he's taking good shots, but the stupid head-up-his-ass boneheaded plays (over dribbling and poor shot selection) are so frustrating to watch. I know he's not the only culprit (we seem to be a bit out of sync on both ends of the court), but some of his plays just have me :banghead: Hopefully this is just, as I suspect, nothing but more growing pains. But I'd like to see some improvement (quickly) in those areas.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Frank get some G-League burn on our off nights. I think he's having a little difficulty with the speed of the NBA game and it's shaking his confidence a little. Maybe that would help him some.

Pretty sure AWTY is correct.

Denver drafted Doug and then traded down for Nurkic and Harris.

On that note... Jesus Christ Denver.

I've also noticed that we are missing the roller on the PnR a bunch of times. Yeah, we're passing the ball more this year but we're still missing great looks to open teammates for easy (or easier) baskets.

Where's my mate, Crazy8s?

Jack looks finished

Losing it completely defensively is usually the first sign of a breakdown physically

Nez told his teammates to get into a fight and get a technical and that he would pay for it. @ 1:00

He was right though, they had no energy. Getting into a fight to provided it isn't the best basketball move for the game at hand but it seems he is trying to establish a culture. I can only image what it is like to play with someone like Russell Westbrook and then to come to the Knicks were effort is a constant issue.

Return to New York Knicks
