This is basically how I feel. Reese's first few years in the League as our GM, dude was a star at Drafting.

But over the years he overlooked some key positions and waited to long to start the future QB search (tho ownership is also partly to blame for that). And for peat's sake, address the damn O-Line already! :nonono:

Next coach needs to be a strict disciplinarian type. No more clowning around Odell.

I want Jim Harbaugh, but I know that's not happening.

Not a fan of firing coaches during the season. At least Reese was let go as well. I hope whoever takes over doesn't let crybaby start again.

Has any able bodied QB been dealt a chittier hand than Geno has. Jeez. What a chitty situation to be thrown into with even worse receivers than what he had with the Jets...

Show some respect.

He got us two Rings as well as MULTIPLE Playoff appearances. He's NOT trash. He's just nearing the end of his career.

Excuse the Giants for trying to treat him right. Arguably the greatest QB the franchise ever had. This isn't Jim Dolan's Knicks.

Giants Receiving Corps isn't worse than the Jets. FOH with that ****. They're INJURED.

There's a difference.

Why isn't tanking acceptable and why doesn't Eli understand what's in the best interest of the organization?

Probably because the guys you want to tank don’t have guaranteed contracts? This isn’t MLB or NBA, you suck you get cut. That’s why tanking isn’t as common in football like it is in other sports.

No organization outside of Cleveland or Philadelphia openly tanks.

We just have so many injuries that we're automatically "tanking."

No one wants to plays for the Browns either. So if they end up with the top pick you can see go us trying to jostle to NOT be Drafted by them and be Drafted by us.

But all you have to do is play the younger backup quarterback who isn't very good and you'll lose games while still playing hard. Quarterback will get blame.

Well yeah but Geno, specifically, only had what they have now which is trash. Didn't look bad either actually. Obviously when fully healthy, OBJ makes the Giants have a top receiving corps in the league. Nobody arguing that.

Again because this is not the NBA. NFL fans would never accept that. You honestly think you can Bench Aron Roders for the sake of losing and they wont be riots? Its only 16 games in a season. Tanking does not really happen in Football. More often that not the team simply sucks...

Geno had the same access to their WR Corps before the injuries. He just never EARNED the starting spot to be deployed with them.

The guy is just inconsistent. Always has been. Shows flashes, but can never do it over a Season.

Who gives a fucck if Rodgers is not at the end of his career. Even if he was, they would not purpospley sit him to lose. They would play the backup QB in HOPES he could WIN. Did you just start watching football yesterday??? Tanking don't happen. they did not tank with Farve . Tanking really does not happen in Football. There is a reason why you very rarely ever hear that word in the NFL.The mantality of the ownership and coaching in the NFL is very different. NFL fans ALWAYS want to see their team win more often than not, they dont give a **** if its a back up quaterback...they want to see the win. Its only 16 games. You think Pats Fans was Mad that Brady won games when he replaced Bledsoe??? smh

Return to New York Knicks
