Hi Knicks' fans.
KP has amazing talent. He has proved it (40 points against us, for example). But even before his ankle's injury he wasn't shooting so well anymore. Since November 13th, almost a month ago, he has only shoot above 50% from the field twice: 9/18 against Atlanta and 2/2 against the Heat.
Is he regressing after a hot start? He's still injured?

Kp has been bad since basically his last 30 point game terrible shooting % and ppg dropping. He can forget about being an all-star if he plays like this.I wonder if that bambi hoe has anything to do with this

Committing to this guy long term would be a mistake. I don’t see it at all.

He is doing what he always does. Drop off during the season. December is usually his month of drop off, but since he played in Eurobasket it started it earlier.

Nah he just needs to work out with Draymond Green, KD or DeMarcus Cousins this offseason instead of this soft, old 40 year old .
I mean he needs toughness and that idgaf mentality more than anything at this point, especially on the road.

Committing big money to a guy who likes to shoot a lot, who really isn’t all that great of the shooter is how we got burned with Melo. Porzingis doesn’t impact the game nearly enough in other areas to offset him taking stupid shots all game.

He's already better defender than melo ever was at age 22. Just relax buddy.

Re: Porzingis thread #4: The KP era is upon us
KP needs to learn how to assert himself in other facets of the game other than shooting. He is a sub-par passer, and when I saw this post, I had to look it up because I just couldn't believe it to be true:
That is flat out embarrassing. I don't care if the majority of the rebounds goes to Kanter. We're talking about a 7'3 guy averaging less rebounds than a rookie PG? Disgusting
He usually brings it on the defensive end, but his effort there has been lacking lately as well. I really hope he improves on his game, because if all he's going to be is shooting big who occasionally blocks shots, then he's not going to be the guy who takes us to an NBA Finals someday. Hopefully he will prove me wrong.

KP hasn’t had a great game since it came out he’d be dealing with a nagging injury. Now he almost never scores more than his shot attempts. Before he was like automatic when he got the ball. Get the surgery now KP.

KP's a decent passer for a big. He's not a good passer, but I'd say he's average. He'll get tunnel vision on offense at times, but that was in his scouting report before he was drafted. I think he's improved on it, but it's still there some.
Part of it is getting used to playing in the post more often too. Which everyone wanted, until it happened, and now they complain about. Never change Realgm Knicks.

Hasn't this sort of been KP every year? You get "Cadillac KP" for like 20 games in the season, then nagging injuries hit, and you get high end Ford KP
