With no trades, changes to the rotations Jeff's using and no Coaching change, yes sure.

Wait you can’t just add no rotation changes ...teams congeal and change thier rotations...

I said in the original post "with no changes".

Shaking up the rotation could help add some wins. Dotson alone would help this team grab some wins because he actually plays D and hit the 3..unlike Lance. If Frank starts,Timmy should become the primary ball handler. but that small thing..starting Frank, would help tremendously. The refs will learn to respect his defense as develops a reputation in a starter's role.

I’m okay with improving from last year and trusting our scouts can nail the Knicks pick in the 8-12 range to continue building. I don’t want to rush the rebuild, but I’m okay with slowly progressing. I like our existing young talent. If things start to look bad around the deadline, I would deal O’Quinn for the best asset possible though and keep the rest of the team in tact.

No need to worry, this team wont make the playoffs. They do play harder than teams in the past, but I think that has to do with just being younger. Fresher, younger legs given minutes gives better effort.

Those expected losses are coming and will in a flurry. They'll likely remain one of the worst teams on the road, and will also take L's at the Garden when teams come in needed wins for their own playoff push.

With this roster intact, I don't have this club winning more than 15-17 more games. They'll play hard for the most part, but will take that L.

They might win 10 games on the road, but I don't think they win 20 at home.

that would put us at 25-27 wins which would be awesome but unfortunately I think they'll win a couple meaningless games at the end and crack 30 again

Coming up- From Dec. 27 to Feb. 2, the Knicks play 20 games, and only four of those are at home. They have an absurd January with 12 of 16 games on other teams floors. Things could get ugly fast

I'm expecting this team to end up in the late lottery around pick 12

Wake up folks. Road game equals loss doesn't matter the opponent. Mvp is the home crowd. Jeff sucks at coaching as well. It shows on the road when it is needed.

Facts. Knicks max out at 38 wins with no changes.

38 is way toooo high.

idk, there are some teams later in the season that likely will neeed those wins. Imo, those last two cavs game might matter for the cavs especially. perhaps if KP gets back to the 30 and above mode, then maybe. If not, nah, 27 at best.

The word "tank" is so toxic. Just call it strategically non-winning.

Just call it "taking L's cause you're not really good". Still have this roster under 30 wins.

I don't think we're thaaaat hopeless with Hardaway, I see us finishing between 30-35.

We've got some bad deals on the books, I think the best course forward is to improve internally and draft well for the rest of this season as well as the next 2 (decent enough chance of playoffs those next 2 years), and then try and add a stud in 2020 when we have a clean cap. Clears the way to offer Kanter a 2-year deal on good money as well to not lose him but also have full rights to go over the cap if we want him past that.

We finally have a young team with some organic pieces that actually look decent. This isn't a 30-win Melo/Rose roster where the only reasonable feeling is dread. It could be fun to watch these guys grow.

Fairly prophetic. Would have been on the money without KP's injury. Now, if the Knicks get a few breaks, they might make 6th, and of course drop to 7th when a team moves up.

More middle of the road.

What are you talking about?

Where we are as a team due to choices made or not made by the front office.

You just don’t trade Melo and call it a day. So much more needed to happen.

That is all.

Still feel this way.
