Real and Bayern don't look as strong as usual this campaign (moreso Real).

Of course, they will probably turn it up another level in the knockouts with all that experience, but both have looked unusually beatable at times. City would be favourites over Bayern, imo, based on how well City have played so far this season.

I think City are coming back down to earth a little bit. They've scraped by with come from behind wins vs West Ham and Huddersfield, Bayern just curb stomped a PSG team whose attack is up there with City's.

I think based on current I might even favor Bayern, but the season is long and to City's credit, they do find ways to win at the end.

Man city are missing Stokes very badly. However going forward they are majestic.

Incredible luck for Bayern. Finish second instead of first and you get Besiktas instead of Real

Now we can see how much PSG's money have bought them.

There'll be scenes in France if PSG get eliminated in the last 16.

Liverpool and Man City get easy draws.

Manure need to beat the team that Leicester beat last year.

Chelsea against Barcelona, Juventus against Spurs should be great matches.

Juve are one of my favourite clubs around Europe. Brutal draw to face them so early despite winning our group but it's great to get to play the European greats.

I hope it's a great tie, of course culminating in us going through to the quarters. :D

I agree with all of this, except I can see Porto potentially doing Liverpool.

Barca will beat Chelsea, getting Dembele back will be huge. Chelsea is scraping by against West Ham (Barca aren’t tearing it up on the pitch either mind you) and while the tie isn’t until February I think if Barca scores at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will be in big trouble. Should be a great tie either way.

I think Madrid should be in better form come February and as awesome as it would to see them get knocked out early, PSG’s defense is a joke. Should be a ton of goals for both sides in this draw.

i really like the besiktas team this year especially because they added lots of toughness but that is a very difficult away match and im sure they will receive plenty of damage

something like bayern 2-0 then 1-1

Juve-Spurs today
Juve are without Dybala, Matuidi, Cuadrado, Lichtsteiner and Barzagli. Still I expect a hard fought win at home.
Douglas Costa will have to fill in Dybala's shoes, with rumors of him starting in the center rather than out wide. The Licht and Barz injuries hurt because if De Sciglio needs to come out, there is chance of Sturaro playing right back :noway:

Good luck, Baph

I'm looking forward to the match, this is what the CL is all about. Poch was right when he said we aspire to be a team like Juventus who are always competitive in the CL and domestically.

Didn't know Dybala was out though.

Meanwhile I expect City to be comfortable against Basel, not really on the same stratosphere right now.

Buffon
DeSciglio—Benatia—Chiellini—Sandro
——————Khedira—Pjanic
Bernardeschi—DouglasCosta—Mandzukic
-————————Higuain

Good lineup despite the injuries but no real attacking options on the bench
