Chris Paul: We're Playing The Right Way And Trying To Get Better

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Dec 14, 2017 3:11 pm

The Houston Rockets are 12-0 in games played by Chris Paul this season.

"It's all good and well. It's nice," said Paul. "I've been on a team that won 17 games in a row, and it didn't feel like that. You know what I mean? Just because it's all about playing the right way, it's all about building. You can win however many games you want in a row. It means nothing if you're not playing the right way, but right now we're playing the right way and still trying to get better."

Paul scored a season-high 31 points to go with seven rebounds and 11 assists during the Rockets' win on Wednesday.

"Just to see him have that confidence and shoot that and be aggressive and get in his bag, as we call it, it's a great sight," said James Harden. "Not only to fans and teammates, but everybody around the world loves to see Chris Paul do that. Hopefully he can continue that and continue to get that confidence to where if he wants to shoot the ball three, four, five, six times in a row, he can do it."

i got blasted on here the past few years for continuing to talk up cp3, and then talking up the sh*t out of the rockets after acquiring him/talking down the clippers potential after losing him

statements like "clippers might even improve" "clippers ball movement will improve" "cp3 doesn't do it in the post season" "not a top 10 player anymore"

LOL

amazing how this board goes with the flavor of the week over guys who have put teams on their back for YEARS (with no real Robin)

Thanks for the honesty.

Ive watched every Clipper game for the past decade.
Chris Paul IS a ball stopper, but its not his fault. CP3 has never played with an Elite Wing player, so he needed to hold the ball. Doc rivers system was all pick and rolls/pick and pop situations. which caused many injuries to Cp3 and Blake.

CP3 has always needed an elite Gaurd to showcase who he really is.
He has come up very short in all playoff series with the clippers.
