Saw "The Last Jedi" last night, I thought it was a little underwhelming. Anyone agree or disagree?

Btw, just landed in LAX and saw both Lamelo and Liangelo lol. Both looked as dumb as advertised. They told a fan they were shooting a scene for the YouTube Big Baller show or whatever it is at the airport.

I thought it was a great movie. Liked it better than Episode 7. Right up there with Empire and Rogue One.

I enjoyed The Last Jedi. Saw it today. I didn't love it, but I liked it. I think it is getting a lot of unwarranted hate.

Same here. I’m almost 40 so it is not going to have the same effect as the originals did when I was a kid, but I have found all three of the new Disney films to be thoroughly enjoyable, interesting and well made.

Pretty much where I'm at as well. There was maybe one nitpicky thing that bothered some people that I kinda understand but it didn't mitigate any of my enjoyment of the overall product.

I enjoyed it, but I'm not a huge Star Wars Guy. My Fiancé,Sister and some of their friends who are were a little disappointed in it? so perhaps it depends on what market you fall in.

Pat DiNizio, singer of the Smithereens, passed away a few days ago. I've been a fan of this band for abut 30 years, but only saw then live once (in Boston, some WFNX music poll show). Here's a couple of great songs from their earlier albums.

Still sounding great after all these years.

Learning to Crawl is my favourite Pretenders record. Here are a couple of ditties from it.

I'll be arriving in New York tomorrow for the New Year, any nice places you'd recommend to go besides the Times Square?

Freakin freezing here right now homie - pack warm!!

I would actually suggest you stay the hell away from Times Square at all costs, especially on NYE. You should check out the Flatiron District and the West Village, both nice and a bit quieter than Times Square. SoHo is great for shopping, but will likely be crazy busy. Head over the East River and check out Williamsburg, walk over one of the bridges if you get a chance and it's not too cold. Do top of the Rockefeller building, or top of the Freedom Tower (and check out World Trade Center memorial pools while you're there). Lots of people go to the top of the Empire State building, but I think it's better to be able to see that building from another building, as it's one of the nicest looking.

I bought really warm clothes for me and for my brother. We've been to NY before, but never this close to the NYE. We're staying on the Freehand Hostel in Manhattan, thanks for the tips! We didn't really want to go to the Times Square. :)

Grimaldi's Pizza
1 Front St, Brooklyn, NY 11201

It is right under the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a landmark. And the pizza is good.

You are going to have a blast in NY. Nothing beats being in Manhattan for NYE.

Not sure if you are asking about food or bar places, but here's what I would check out for food

Peter Luger Steak House - Order the steak for two medium rare; cash only.
178 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11211

The Halal Guys - Best drunk street food ever, but still pretty good for lunch.
Southeast corner on 53rd and Sixth Ave.

Grey's Papaya - Very good cheap hot dogs. I recommend them over the street "dirty dogs."
Numerous locations

Katz’s Delicatessen - Mile high pastrami sandwiches.
205 E Houston St
New York, NY 10002

P.J Clarke's - One of the best burgers in NYC.
915 3rd Ave, New York
