I just hope Russ doesn't get trigger happy and take bad shots because he thinks he needs to fill the void. Get the mid range going and let Abrines take the looks. He will get open shots.

On paper Bucks roster looks good defensively.
They have long arms to deny passes to 3pt shooters. They should be able to slow down the opponent ball movement.
They also have similar sized players in 2-3-4 positions. They can switch easily. So this should be a plus for their defense too. They can simply switch on those important picks to create 3pt shots.
Athletic backcourts with good height and great wingspan.
On paper I dont think Abrines can do well against those matchups. But we'll see.
We have a good defensive team that can stop even the best offensive teams for couple minutes.
Bucks struggle to create offense on halfcourt plays. So we should be able to win this game.
Donovan should manage rotations well. We cant let easy points from mismatches.
Its easy to suffocate Bucks offense so I'd rather have Huestis-Grant instead of Abrines today.
Just dont let them find easy points.

I really hope we don't see a replay of the Nets game with both Russ and Melo just chucking without George.

What the eff is going on? We're currently on 4-point pace this quarter.
And why isn't PG playing? Sorry, I've had a very busy day and just turned the game on when we were down 13-2.

Down 20-5. Guess I can start considering turning this one off and watching USC/Ohio State.

Re: 12/29 - 7PM CST | G36: Milwaukee Bucks at Oklahoma City Thunder
Now we've got bleeping Malcolm Brogdon catching and making acrobatic shots on a lob on us.
We do some good stuff, get the lead back down to 9, and the Bucks get questionable back-to-back and-ones to push the lead back to 15 just like that.
We aren't winning this one. This one just has that feel of we aren't sustaining a run long enough to erase a 15+ point first quarter deficit.
So frustrating. The Bucks are alright, but they're struggling lately and they're on the second night of a back-to-back. We're at home and they've already taken us out behind the woodshed and delivered us a beating...twice.

When I see that the rockets signed Gerald green off the street it makes me pretty confident that Alex Abrines doesn’t belong in the nba.
We aren’t deep enough to overcome not having George. Russ is making bad passes, Adams making bad fouls and everyone else doesn’t matter enough to win the game.

Re: 12/29 - 7PM CST | G36: Milwaukee Bucks at Oklahoma City Thunder
We can't make anything and they are making everything.
Russ misses back-to-back point-blank putbacks and Tony Snell hits back-to-back 3-pointers. Down 33-11. This is our worst quarter of the season and we've had some truly horrendous 3rd and 4th quarters this season, so that's saying something.
On another note, before we realized it'd be a smarter financial decision to not go to a Thunder game this year, my wife and I back in August did all but click "submit purchase" on tickets to this game. Glad we backed out. I'd just be sitting in the stands throwing a big fit and making a huge ass of my self.

Alex Abrines is a freaking defensive tragedy.

Billy Donovan got pushed down the stairs by Patrick Patterson.

Re: 12/29 - 7PM CST | G36: Milwaukee Bucks at Oklahoma City Thunder
They shot 61% from the floor and made five threes that quarter, all by Snell and Middleton who are a combined 5/7 from three. They surely won't keep shooting that well, but how many teams lose the 1st quarter by 20 points and come back to win?
Even if we do end up making this a close-ish game, we're going to have to exert so much energy to come back, without George I just can't see anyway we pull off the comeback.
