George, Andre and Adams are great defenders. Everyone else is pretty mediocre.

John Henson sucks, usually, but he's going off on us tonight.

Felton and Huestis are collective idiots.

Free throws.

Felton and Russ are 1/5 from the line in the final two minutes.

And now with Adams' free throws and the lane violation, we're essentially 2/7 from the FT line in the final two minutes.

We are the dumbest team I’ve ever seen tonight. Russ and Melo are so low bbiq it’s pathetic.

Russ, we didn't have to take a forced, contested three there!!

And we've missed FIVE bleeping FTs in the final two minutes in a five point game. If we make just three of them (only 60%), we have the ball down by two right now.

I mean, overall, this loss isn't super discouraging. We played a very poor game all around without our second best player and best two-way player, and barely lost after a disastrous first quarter. At the same time, though, we did so many things so poorly throughout the entire game it's still a very frustrating loss.

Pathetic. Crap free throw shooting. Poor shot by Russ, and they leave Bledsoe wide open.

yet another example of westbrook's vapid (at best) sense for game context costing the team. from the pull-up three when we got within one possession in the third quarter, to the pull-up three with 46 seconds left, time and again he tries to 'kobe' his way to victory instead of playing the percentages.

westbrook is a great player but he is a poor decision maker in these moments. as bad as this game was in the first quarter, our defense played well enough the rest of the way to win.

In the final two minutes:

Felton three-shot FT trip: 1/3

Russ two-shot FT trip: 0/2

Adams two-shot FT trip: 1/2 (the second one was a make waved off by a lane violation so it's still the same thing as a miss).

I don’t really mind losing this game but the mental mistakes and middle-school free throw shooting are what really temper my hopes with this team going forward.

This. I love Russ. He's my favorite NBA player for many reasons. However, he's still extremely frustrating. He tries to force the dramatic "win it" or "tie it up" moment when it's not necessary way too often.

How do we let Giannis catch it there and get all the way to the rim in that situation? That's just awful team defense in a "must stop" situation.
