There is still plenty of seating aboard the T-Ferg bus for all that are interested.![]()
Great win. Team looked great and it also shut up all the PG to LA stuff for the time being. Win-Win
I’m not right about a lot of things, but I’ve been driving that bus.

What a weird game. I felt like we coasted 90 % of the time. The Lakers were horrific. I don't know if we actually played all that well, but I'll take a blowout like that anytime.

It would be nice if George would stop talking about how nice it was that LA is recruiting him. If he really wants to be a part of what he saw on the opposing side, I don’t know what to say.

He needs to stop talking. All this fishing nonsense here, now this: Just play your game and see where it takes the team. Nobody's buying he wants to lead them to the 9th seed next season. And nobody's buying that Oklahoma is suddenly home to him. Just play and stop talking.

I agree. We know what we traded for with him. Most will be disappointed if he leaves but not shocked. I don’t mind him praising the city of LA but praising their recruiting efforts is a bit much.

Daniel Hamilton looks like another good prospect.

Hope Ferguson is not another Jeremy Lamb. Nice performance out there. Huestis +30.

The recruitment?!? I mean, if he leaves I won't be shocked or anything but don't rub it in our face, Paul.

People need to stop with this 'Ferguson is the greatest 23 ever.' Don't be crazy. Besides, he's obviously closer to prime Ray Allen.

Once Dre comes back we should probably bring George off the bench.

Re: 1/3 - POSTGAME | Oklahoma City Thunder (133) - (96) Los Angeles Lakers
I just want to take a moment and talk about how low-key good Huestis has been. I’ve been calling on him to get minutes since the season before last. The thing that he brings to our team that helps a lot is his switch-ability. He’s a really solid defender who can switch on 2s through 5s and do a good job. And he can hit the open 3. That’s huge.
And good on Ferguson for making the most of his 1st start. I’m not going to lie, I was lower on him than most due to his size, but the kid plays with aggression and a high energy level and even though he’s small, his high effort on defense is easy to spot when he’s on the court. Hope this gets him minutes over Abrines for the foreseeable future.

The entire bench reaction to Ferguson was the highlight of the game to me. Ok maybe the windmill then that but still really fun.
Also I know the rumors are there and everything but that's a tough sell for a free agent to go to that.

He is shooting 31.7% from 3 even though nearly all of his shots are open and most are wide open. That's not good. He's better than Roberson and Grant at this, but that's a very low bar.

Re: 1/3 - POSTGAME | Oklahoma City Thunder (133) - (96) Los Angeles Lakers
I thought the first hammer off the Felton pass was better than the windmill.
I looked at all this kid’s gifs all summer. I knew he could light it up from deep. When he was going off, I was hoping he’d get to show off the hops b/c the analysts were talking about him like he’s only a shooter.
Once I saw him as the trailer on the break I knew Felton would hit him but I thought it would be an alley. That hammer was so much better.

Yeah and Ferguson is shooting ~25% on threes for the season. Huestis is essentially a rookie and sure 31% isn’t great. But the consistency will come. The fact that a defender has to respect Huestis at the perimeter is a huge when you pair that with his defensive contributions.
