Serious question:

Does that happen often?

This is the only one I can remember from past years.

Well the good thing is that was last season so it's trending positively for us....and btw, this may just be me looking the Hawk eyes but isn't Ersan a much better player overall that Bojan Bog? I mean Ersan draws crazy charges and is a ton better on D....

PERHAPS...

But Ersan was traded last year during the same time period...for an expiring plus a 2nd round pick swap.

Getting a high 2nd round pick straight up would be an improvement on that.

I'll simply state that those who don't learn from history...nevermind. (Do I always sound that sanctimonious?)

Nets also took on as much useless salary in that deal as the Hawks did with Crawford.

I want Stan bad..

Forward Stanley Johnson is one name that has come up in the Pistons’ conversations with other teams, per ESPN sources. Opposing teams have come away with the impression that Johnson is available for the right return. – via ESPN

The expectation of the 1st was because most trades proposed (on the TnT board) wanted the Hawks to also take back bad salaries, not just straight up swap.

Crawford's cap hit next year in $2.5 mil. Carroll $15 mil.
The difference between last year and this year is that less teams have capspace and the teams that do have it have less of it. It places a premium on it.
Where $15 mil cost you a 1st last year, $10 mil might be a 1st this year. Market conditions matter.

So since we have seen your asking prices, just wanted to throw this out there to get a read:

Bayless, Luwawu, 2018 top 10 protected PHI 1st, and 2018 PHI 2nd for Belinelli, Ilyasova, and Bembry.

Might as well eliminate the 2018 top 10 protected...you guys will be drafting 15-20...

Question:
1. What do you like about Bembry and how do you see him fitting in with Philly
2. Whats Luwawu game like on offense, can he play defense?

Carroll was not the Bojan Bog deal.

But for the poster posting about how Bojan got a 1st last year, it was by including that much useless salary.

Toronto, Houston, Knicks, and Sixers are all teams that have high 2nd round draft picks this year, that maybe could use a vet for their playoff push.

Toronto doesn't have a second rounder this year.

No Spud, have that 8th cookie because BBQ is wrong. Orlando has zero picks owed to any team and Toronto has zero picks owed to them by any team.
