OMG, that's so hilarious. Please tell me someone remembers when I made the post accusing Eddie of ripping off BJJ Scout based on that podcast with Joe. Anyone? Not sure if I would be able to find it or where I would have posted it.

Maybe if Maia starts fighting professional wrestlers, ducking top competition, and then talking more about how good he is than fighting, then the comparison makes a little more sense.
2) Eddie Bravo should really give BJJ Scout credit when he rips off all of his analysis on the air. Now people are doing videos of Maia doing exactly what Eddie is saying on the podcast, but the problem is that isn't Eddie's analysis that he is now getting credit for, he got it all from BJJ Scout. 100% of it. I don't think it was intentional on his end but it still sucks for the guy who put in the work.

The worst part is the ripping and re-uploading of content (but Kenny Florianing his analysis is **** up too).
What an awful tactic. Just steal people's content and use it as if it were yours. I know Edgy isn't the only guy doing this in social media and I don't have a problem if somebody did it and it was a video featuring themselves, but what Edgy is doing is pure trash.

He should fight one of the W's, Woodley or Whittaker.

Man, what does UFC have against Dave Branch? Pitting him against Rockhold/Romero back to back. Obviously as tough as it gets at MW. Hoping Branch can somehow win or stick around regardless of a loss. I'm a fan. He's a bit of a wet blanket a la Holly or Will Brooks, but at least he's a thoughtful dude who isn't so boring which redeems that semi-dour attitude.

There's a reason lie detector tests aren't admissible in court. Regardless of stats cited there's no real way to test their reliability by nature. People aren't going to admit to something with damaging consequences ahead of time and that would take the concern away anyway. It just measures a physiological response, that nobody knows what it means. They are toys, essentially.
Like you said, they are easier to pass if you're a sociopath. Don't have much for emotions and are used to lying. And he picked the place, in Kirky. Not exactly a neutral field. How many did he go to before he reported the result? 3 suspicious USADA tests tells all.

The man is as physiological a freak as he is a physical freak. He may as well be a florist prepping a bouquet, he's so damn relaxed in the cage.
That he can also stay relaxed while lying is no surprise at all. He elevates his system while setting the base-line for lies by like doing some isometric hold to raise HR, etc., he then sociopaths the lies he doesn't want to register.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I saw on Twitter than Tony and Khabib will fight at UFC 223 in Brooklyn, April 7th.

Not sure. Dana has said he is strongly considering stripping Conor of the belt. Conor has said he will fight in September. With this Tony/Khabib fight in April, it makes me think Conor won't be stripped, and the winner fights him in September.

That's like 22months since he won the title. I don't subscribe to the idea that because he fought a boxing bout outside of the UFC it means he's "active" and therefore shouldn't be stripped. He hasn't stepped into the Octagon for over 12months now with no apparent injury and he should be stripped. Don't see why the UFC wouldn't do it. They stripped him of the FW belt but it sure as hell didn't hurt his marketability or popularity.
They should just strip him to move the division along. If anything, it hurts the marketability and popularity of other contenders like Khabib and Tony because they are fighting for a "fake" belt. Seriously, with the way they hand out interim belts these days, nobody respects it.

I think they should strip him too.

They will strip him.
Conor doesn’t want Khabib
This allows him to pick his fights as well. He can have his easy money nate fight now

Ya I won't be surprised if Conor never fights for another belt in the UFC. I wouldn't be shocked if his next 2 fights are GSP and a 3rd Nate fight. He probably wants nothing to do with Holloway or Khabib. I can see him matching up well with Tony but I don't think Tony is going to have the belt after April 7th, and no way do I see him ever fighting Khabib.

UFC wants Conor vs Khabib in Russia. They’re letting Khabib squash Tony so there is no controversy over who gets the red panty night.

Re: Non-threadworthy MMA Rumors/Quotes/Tweets/Etc., Vol. 4
This is a sweet ass LFA card tonight.
Thanh Le won in impressive fashion on the Dana White Contender Series, and UFC foolishly didn't offer him. But he has a tough opponent in tonight again Bobby Moffett, who is a tough customer and may have a future himself.
Ian Heinisch would be in the UFC if he won his title fight against Markus Perez, who arguably gave Eryk Anders his sternest test. He's facing a decent opponent.
Frincu was also destroying people until his last fight against Millender, who ktfo'ed the solid Nick Barnes too, and is on a heater. He has an undefeated opponent.
Sandhagen's only loss was a comeback and he's a well-rounded guy with potential. Actually down the card.
And a lot of other guys with good records, that LFA finds from around the country. Definitely worth a watch. This is a fantastic weekend for MMA.
