I see Bulls by 10 but could also see LA winning, if we see bad rotations again then I think we have our answer on the direction of the team.

No reason to win tonight, dont help Boston get the Lakers draft pick. Take the L, tank rolls on!

Yeah, we have to lose this game tonight for various reasons (tank seeding, not helping Boston/Philly get better pick etc). Wish Lonzo was playing tonight but hopefully they have a couple of players with career nights.

I also hope that Fred manages minutes of Lopez/Holiday and don't play Lavine more than 25 minutes. Find a way to lose please.
Also, what are the Gar/Pax are doing? We need trades soon and I mean like yesterday.

Fred is in on the tank. He pulling guys that starts getting winning going. So I see a loss coming. Quite a bit of losses actually.

This would be a key game to drop for a team looking to competently tank, which makes me suspect the Bulls will win this on big nights from Lopez and Holiday.

Very important night for the tank tonight. A lot of teams around us in the tank race are playing: Memphis, Phoenix, Dallas, the Lakers, and Brooklyn. Let's see what the money men in Vegas say.

Memphis play the Clippers at home, who are on a 3-game losing streak. Clips are favored by 3pts.
Phoenix play the Knicks at home, and they're favored by 1pt.
Brooklyn play in Milwaukee, MKE a 6.5pt favorite.

As for us, we're favored by 4 points :-?

If the stars are aligned: we lose while Memphis, Brooklyn, and Phoenix win, we could crack Top 5 in the Tankathon by the end of the night. Inversely, if we win and all those other teams lose, we could find ourselves slide all the way to #9.

Even with a lot of Grant on the floor, I expect a relatively easy win. We're due for our weekly "this team is totally awesome!" kind of game.

It would be a 'good' loss if it happens, to be sure. I really don't see us catching up to the worst four teams, but I think the tank race between the other 5 teams in the worst 10 is still up for grabs. 1-4 picks would be terrific, but I highly doubt we get them. 5 or 6 would be really good, and reachable. 7-9 is where I expect to fall, and will be a bit sad to see if #5 is only a loss away.

We really need to lose tonight as after this game we play Bucks (very likely loss with their new coach and a honeymoon period), then Blazers and Clippers on the road. By that time it will be almost the trade deadline and already be around bottom 3 to 5 record wise.

That would be so good.

Lakers are almost a .500 team in terms of point differential when Zo plays. I believe it's -0.8 a game. Without him, we are approximately a -9.0. Huge difference. Lakers haven't won a game on the road without Zo but a 3 game win streak gives this team some hope to pull it out tonight. Also, in this 3 game win streak, Ennis's minutes have been reduced significantly and Caruso has been the PG leader in minutes which has helped. Ennis doesn't even belong in the G League, he's LA Fitness material.
