I wonder if Joe gets canned if we get clowned by Embiid on Monday?

He's pretty much been tethered to their staff already. I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner.

I wonder if one of the things that helped make this decision was Kidd recently repeatedly going public with the idea that everybody should expect less. It rubbed us the wrong way but I can't imagine anybody in the organization liked it, either. Essentially going with "the real problem here is that you guys think we should be winning."

I ABSOLUTELY think that was a factor. If nothing else, it all but assured anyone in the organization that thought they should get rid of him before the season that they were right to question him. I've said it before, but that was straight loser talk. It's been a long time since I was a coach, but when I was, never would have said anything that weak minded.

For me, this was also a JKidd admission of having no confidence in his own abilities to get the Bucks to the next level.

Our ownership group are made up of a bunch of idiots. It's too bad cause I had high hopes for them when they wined and dined with all the fans at that bar their first weekend here.

Coach with losing record castigates management for not winning championships.

Somebody needs to explain to me how Bucks management are the ones who look bad in that story.

If this is true, I really want to know the contents of the video. And Kidd asking people if they know what it takes to win in the NBA is pretty ironic. That being said, there will continue to be questions about the structure in the Bucks basketball operations as long as there's no clear hierarchy in its structure.

I clicked on a link under the excerpt called '10 coaching candidates to replace Kidd in Milwaukee' and 3 of the 10 candidates are Mark Jackson, Jim Boylen, and Desmond Mason, so this might be some Gary Woelfel-level rumor mongering.

ETA: Fair or not, it seems that some of the national media are starting to paint the Bucks ownership group in a more negative light since Kidd's firing. The Ringer recently mentioned the ownership group being dysfunctional because Kidd was fired mid-season instead of at the end of the season. Until the Bucks start to win consistently, the media that haven't watched the Bucks play are going to believe that the Bucks 'did Kidd wrong' by firing him 'too soon.'

How it was written. They're called "legitimate points" by Mitch Lawrence.

By "Bucks management" I'm assuming Horst? Thorn? LED?

Until this team gets a strong POBO and LED butt out of basketball decisions this franchise is going nowhere.

On the flip side Kidd can **** off. Great players don't automatically make great, or even good coaches. VERY different doing it on the court and on the sideline. Kidd has no idea how to coach a championship team.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Because Kidd microphone dropped them with the ring thing. Burrrrn.

They are kind of crappy, but the writer should have actually used stories to support their argument... there are enough out there.

Maybe they are crappy because this wasn't the first time Kidd was allowed to clown them without losing his job?

Another example of sports media trying to victimize coaches who get fired.

They don't. Kidd does. Heck needing to show that video to Kidd really says to me that Kidd should be fired.
