Jason Kidd's terrible offense is what happened. I'm interested to see how Bledsoe looks with an already improved offense once his ankle issues clear up.

I don't know. He played a few games for Phoenix and was shooting like that then. A few games post-Kidd and he's still shooting like it. He got to play off Giannis and Middleton trying to create here. Opponents backed off him. He missed open shots. Can't pin that on Kidd. His motion isn't very smooth.

That's because his strengths are the same as ( but quite a bit less) Giannis strengths, I want the ball in Giannis hands a lot more, because 6+ assists per game Giannis is the best for this team. Many of us weren't sure Bledsoe would be a great fit with this team because he can't shoot 3's, now we will need to wait and see if that's the case.

Well, that is an extremely small sample size (6 games)... I'd assume he'll regress to the mean and continue to be the ~35% 3 point shooter he was with Phoenix.

Come on people... the only reason opponents PGs don't abuse us every night is Bledsoe ... do you forget how awful defenders Delly and Brogdon were against the top PGs of this league. Bledsoe has proven he gives opponents headaches and he rebounds alot for his size, not to mention he can pull up off the dribble on crunch time and nail the dagger.

I agree with Swanson and PP25 ... no need Bledsoe ... yes, I want him to make more 3s, not cut his 3PAs. Not interested in Kemba/Bledsoe swap cause Kemba doesn't play D. Having Henson and Thon under the rim makes Bledsoe too important to stop penetration.

Clippers now have 4 players that can help us...

So if Asik heads to Chicago in a tank move would think Rolo might be available as part of said fire sale.

I kind of agreed with you until you said you didn’t want Bledsoe to cut his 3PAs. There’s no reason a non shooter should be jacking up 8 threes a game like he’s been doing lately. Those are essentially turnovers from our PG. If he was turning the ball over in a traditional manner, people would be up in arms here

I also wonder if he isn't 100%. He doesn't seem to have nearly the activity level on either end since the first couple games with the Bucks. Long term, he will need to accept being option 4-5 for the Bucks to compete at the highest level. With his contract up after next year, I'm not sure he'll be on board with that.

I wouldn't be looking to move bledsoe. The defensive pressure he puts on other guards helps create turnovers that he doesn't always get credit for (on top of, last time I checked, being the league leader in SPG and STL%) he's a big part of our transition offense and one of the only dudes who can get out and run with Giannis.

Offensively his numbers haven't been great but he also hasn't been forcing much at all since being traded here and more so just trying to fit into the offense. 1 or 2 more threes drop a game and all the sudden his numbers don't look so bad. I don't think he really is a mid-20s% 3 point shooter.

I mean, I wouldn't be totally against it if it was for a clear upgrade, but I don't see that being very realistic and a bad stretch of games from Bled isn't enough for me to forget the absolute terrible PG play that has plagued this team for so long.

IF the superstar market is hot, I think the Bucks' pieces are close enough to make a call to see if we could get one. Offering Jabari plus one of the other starters could net us a superstar. I'm keeping salary filler out of this, though I understand it is important. Starting with the basics, here are some potentials:
Bledsoe and Jabari for Lillard
Bledsoe and Jabari for Porzingis (and I would take on Noah to do it)
Krhis and Jabari for Marc Gasol and Ellington
Khris and Jabari (plus a pick or two) for Kawhi

We need another capable Center on this roster. We can't be serious about winning if Thon is playing.

Snell/Thon/Vaughn to Utah for Burks/Udoh

Bucks get a cheap back-up big and cut Snells contract in half with Burks.

Utah gets clear of paying Hood.

Is Asik much of an upgrade to Thon?

If he is then taking on the next 2 years of his deal (before his early termination clause) in return for a 1st doesn't seem like the worst thing in the world.

Snell has been solid but this could be the apex of his value before Jabari comes back and minutes get tighter.

Yea with the emergence of Brown and likelihodd that he can easily handle Snell's PT. Maybe Snell is the guy who most should be most looking to move. Still, we don't exactly have an abundance of shooting so it's not a no brainer, but if you can shift his 11 per year to a great position of need like a 5 (on a shorter in years deal) that might work. Once gain Robin Lopez comes to mind.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.
