Yet we continue to switch at every possible opportunity. Do you think there is any capable guard in the league that isn’t thrilled to have a big man guarding him 25-30 feet from the basket?

Capable?

14mm was too much for gibson considering how deep in the tax we were going. maybe they would have kept him if they could have got a 1+1 but minnesota guaranteed the second year.

Billy hated him anyways, so it was a moot point.

I’m down for him but only in a series of moves. I think that they need a player more capable of scoring/creating than what a Simmons type player would bring them.

I think a MCW and Hood deadline wouldn’t be the worst thing that happened to this team.

Hood would look good sitting in a wheelchair next to Dre. He’s always hurt.

Get rested, get a Sg, have an assistant take over for billy.

Can you guys do us a favor and beat Minnesota tommorow please?

We could use all the help we can get.

The Jazz are liking holding him out before he’s traded.

It was fun while it lasted.

Can we talk about how often Adams has been out of position without Robes? Last night was unreal. He was in no man's land on 2/3 possessions.
George also has had some bad lapses. Like not even getting a hand up.

I think we need to talk about Adams defense. He has been getting roasted the last two games.

He was out of position often against Davis. I feel he is too keen to try trap on the pnr and over comits. He has zero help defense and needs to adjust. Thoughts?

He's too aggressive covering for Russ, but I don't know if you can put that on him when it's actually on Russ kit guarding his man.

Yea on some plays but i feel on 90% of pnr he trys to trap too much. Its ok against a big with no range but he gets torched by bigs who can shoot.
He also gives these bigs far too much space on the 3pt line.
His trapping is only good if can get a hand in the passing lane. If not its a pass to a big with room to operate down low. It hasnt paid off the last 2 games.
He is awesome when posted up. Just seems to be getting dominated in any other situation lately

Generally speaking, I agree. His recent slump defensively kinda mirrors his struggles last season come January/February. Although there's something I want to stress: For years, we've had four defenders out there with Russ. Now we're back to two. So when Adams has to cover Westbrook's man because Russ is content trailing every single play defensively, you're suddenly asking George to cover both Ferguson/Abrines and Melo. Hell, he even has to Russ because he's mostly just roaming around, not really comitting and giving effort. We don't have Ibaka helping the helper. We don't have Durant being a big guy who's athletic enough to help out.

My dude Alex commits some of the dumbest most half measure foul ever. Even the thunder broadcast pointed out one of them last night.

I don't care that it was the second night of a back-to-back. The Pelicans roster without Cousins is AD carrying a very mediocre, dare I say bad, supporting cast. They just came into the Peake and beat us by 14. We got outscored 92-68 over the final three quarters of the game.

We suck. We suck so bad. This is October/November level of ineptitude.

Came here for the overreactions. I was satisfied.

The Thunder on a 8-games in 13 days stretch and they just lost a key part of their starting unit. Do you know how hard it is to be at full strength the day after flying to Denver, having to adjust to the altitude, then flying all the way to New Orleans after the game and re-adjust? It’s HARD even for an NBA player.

You will see much more energy vs LAL @ home. Watch.

Oh look! Our starters turn into a negative lineup without Roberson! And that has been the case all season long! But hey, I'm sure it's just fatigue and just a coincidence!
