You realize that once the trade deadline has passed, then IT just becomes an expiring contract they don't plan to re-sign. If they think their chances to win are better with IT sitting on the bench and Calderon starting, there's no reason why Lue wouldn't just bench IT and play his best lineup.
This Cavs team without IT did win 18 of 19 games earlier this year. I'm not ready to declare them dead yet.

The Cavs are legit scary when they want to be, and they did a lot of the damage with that Frye at center plus shooters (i.e. Smith and Korver) line up around Lebron that we know so well.
