I'm getting closer to advocating trading a top 3 pick for multiple top 15 selections -- if Travis has a couple of guys he loves available later in the lottery.

We could just trade for Taj Gibson if we like Carter so much. Maybe dig up Kurt Thomas? :)

Bruh...

Can I at least get a Antonio Davis shout out?

Kurt Thomas? SMH

He's no AD (the real AD).

Recent injuries to Cousins and Porzingis as well as the history with Embiid and Davis make me quite skeptical about big men. Today’s pace is too fast and the intensity of the game just makes it hard for a big man to stay healthy.

Probably not, but it was something he mentioned during the first semester. (Before his injury.)

Spoiler:
Read on Twitter

NOTE: I don't know if I quantify him as a big man. He's a combo forward in the mold of Jayson Tatum and his game is almost entirely perimeter based.

But your larger point is a valid one.

hmm. seems like i posted this exact thing in another thread.

Sorry I don’t stalk you like you do me so I don’t read every lil thought that you throw out there...

Are you talking about the teams being separated by such a small margin? Or the Sura effect? Or you just decided to open your mouth just to open it.

Ooohh snap, tickle-fight on aisle 7! @macd has the edge, @spud2 can't feel much tickling through his rolls.

Lame re-rail attempt alert ... No way Porter goes back to college to "prove himself". There's more value in remaining "intriguing" by not having played. He's still 2 on my list.

We’d all love to see your list...You know, so when you claim that I missed on a certain player, I can point out your flaws as well.

But a while back you claimed that Bamba was garbage and that you wouldn’t draft him? Do tell what changed your mind?

I wasn't complaining but I actually used the term Sura 2.0. Just thought it was weird but it's the truth so...

Anyhoo, looks like we're going to have a lot of buyouts. With the other vets gone Baze may go back to fumbling.

Bagley is no longer in the same discussion as Ayton for me.
I have been watching both closely since the season started an Ayton hands down continues to by my #1 target. Currently watching Bagley at the moment vs UNC, Ayton following this game vs UCLA, so stay up late to watch if you have the time to do so.

Guys, don't sleep on Lonnie Walker IV.

He's not the best SG in the draft (yet), but he's the best prospect at the position:

Lonnie Walker IV (Miami, SG, Freshman)

Averaging 18.0 points over Miami's last eight games, Walker is finding his scoring rhythm. He's starting to take advantage of the opportunity created from Bruce Brown Jr.'s injury. Long and explosive, Walker has a promising 2-guard foundation from which to build between his tools, athleticism and jump shot.

I couldn't agree more. 80% of Bagley's hoops are ones that wouldn't be there in the nba. He's just physically dominating weaker players in the paint. Ayton at least has a varied skill set. Still I'm wary of these big guys.

Are you still basing that on the one game you saw him play against GT?

Seriously though, this guy is the epitome of what you hate about young prospects. It'll be 3 years before the team that drafts him begins to see what he'll really be as a player.

Now on that...we agree.

The kid has talent. But is massively unpolished.

Eggsactly. Which is why you don't draft that guy. You wait for that guy to fizzle out, not get his 4th year picked up, then sign him for cheap.

He's basically the black Mario Hezonja.
