Timmy saw the writing on the wall and secretly(or not secretly) leads the tank brigade.

You keep trashing Jeff, but tell me, what did he do at the end of the Utah game to cool off their three point shooting? Hood and Jerebko were lighting it up...so something, some scheme, must have been devised that stopped that from happening...right?

To give you an example, Fisher was so **** lazy he wouldn't do defense/offense substitutions on dead balls, only during time outs and if absolutely necessary. Jeff is constantly moving pieces, like KOQ and Kanter, for that purpose, whereas many **** coaches like Derek make substitutions just based on their rotations and minutes.

We are moving up on the ladder in defensive ratings, and are already much better than we ever were the past few years...the coach has something to do with that...because it's not like we have a multitude of NBA all defense team players....early predictions stated that we would be dead last in the league in that regard once we got Kanter, McDermott, Tim Hardaway, Jarret Jack, etc....but that's not happening, and Courtney Lee and Porzingis alone aren't responsible for that.

Actually no.

It’s OK though.
Come see me in February.

Is he playing hurt?

Is he dealing with some personal problems outside of basketball?

Nothing is wrong with Timmy.
I love dude, but he’s a 6th man due to his streakiness. He was never supposed to be brought back(no matter the price) as a primary option. That’s what he is HERE. It’s not going to work.

His defense is as bad as Jarad Jack! He IS trying to help in other ways but, neither his rebounds nor his assists are high enough to mask his horrendous shooting from beyond the arc. At this point I'd tell him to stop shooting 3's all together. Stick to drives, floaters and mid range shot because his 3point shooting has done nothing but hurt since he's come back. The 3pt numbers are beyond abysmal.

He's really not a first or second option. He's definitely got the yips right now though. This isn't "streakiness". He was playing very well up until he got hurt. The whole team was. He hasn't returned to form and a seemingly little bump to his shin bothered him. He's not 100% if you ask me.

Bigger issue is...no KP and poor PG play. The whole team was struggling for weeks together. Lee/Beasley were the only real consistent players and they aren't good enough to carry a team. Kanter even lost minutes in the 4th for a stretch.

If this is who Timmy really is...that's painful. 18mil for a 6th man? Good lord. Spent too much time with JR?

He's Fn TERRIBLE!!!!

Everyone knows, we, know, he knows, his former team...the jokes on us because we have to keep paying this clown.
If you have no critics you'll likely have no success.

I was one of his detractors, as you know, but he looked better when we were healthy. He's shouldering waayyyy too much load at this point and not only will he be streaky but he's taking high degree of difficulty shots. I will say though that him taking this time as the primary option is going to be a huge help going forward --- we're gonna owe him a huge thank you.

With the size of his contract I don't see anyone giving up a first for him. We'd be lucky to get an expiring contract at this point.

Remember that Mills gave him a trade kicker too. We'd have to attach a first round pick to get anyone to take his contract at this point. Especially when you consider that Lou Williams just signed for 3/$24m, and the market for NBA contracts is gonna see a big crunch over the next few years. Most teams are capped out now, and would never want THJ at $17m/year.

Mills ego got the best of him. This was his way of sticking his middle finger up to Phil when he replaced him.

money well spent. dont blame the player. blame the team. hardaway receives too much criticism. hes returning from injury and he is what he is. hes the only player that is willing to let it fly from 3. everyone else thinks that the 3 pt line doesnt exist. team is terrible defensively but dont blame it on tim. hes a winning player while jarret jack and ron baker are losing players.
