AAAAAAAAAND of course fans were complaining then.

They were giving P.E the Amare treatment saying we need to trade him before his knees give out all the way.
Who should come off the H2O or Spree?
Who should start at point Ward or Childs?
Fire Scott Layden!!!!!!
JVG vs Assistant coach Tom Thib...
LJ dealing with a bad back and is no longer Grandma
Chris Dudley sucks
Who the Heck is Rick Brunson and why isn't he being traded?

We won 50 games that year and of course fans did nothing but complain. It is what it is. Get use to it.

I mean, the Knicks soon fell down and never got back up after this so the complaints were warranted. The franchise hasn't recovered since Dolan took ownership after the 1999 Finals and forced Checketts out in 2001.

Complaints were occurring before hand which causes the media hype, and then knowing that we had/have poor management we beg for trades, knowing that we sucked at making trades, only to be disappointed when we got garbage back. Knicks fans expect to get juice from potatoes, They wanted an injured P.E gone and were upset to get injured players back, when all we had to do is be patient and just letting him retire as a Knick. We were upset with Sprees off court antics, but forgot that he was the best defender on the roster, and replaced him with SHANDON ANDERSON???????? Let me say that again SHANDON ANDERSON!!!!!!!!!!

No smoke and mirrors

Just a lot of guys playing above their norm

We’d probably have north of 45 wins if Tyson wasn’t out so long in 13-14.

I wonder too. Like if we were like the Spurs: would we criticize Pop for not playing Derrick White more? Would we beg Tony Parker to retire? Would we love Kawhi?
I think it’d be the same. Know it alls, incessant gripers and fans pitting Knick players against each other.

I’d hope if we were the Spurs the majority would not do any of that. There will always be outliers.

That was a good team but was designed poorly because it relied way too much on JR and an old Kidd. The shelf life was going to be short no matter what.

But yeah this board is pretty terrible right now. I think a lot of people could use a break from here because their perspectives are shot.

Of course. Lots of it is media driven. Folks claim to have independent thought, but will parrot what the media tells them. Dolan listens to what Joe “the fry cook” is squawking about, and encourages knee jerk reactions by the management. Fans here are similar to the trailer park Trumpsters.

We barely got by Boston in the first round and then our asses firmly beat in round 2 against the Pacers.

I enjoy the knicks games way more when I keep this place out of it. Never used to be that way. But it is now. The general tone here is just toxic. A winning team would not change it. It’s not about the team here.

Winning? Lol

this organization can’t even build a consistent 40 win team...

When will we ever get a championship caliber squad or at least a team that can win 50+ games year in and year out? I have little hope for the future.
