I’m sorry but it makes me want him even less. He doesn’t look so unique to me. He may very well turn out to be great, but I’d rather have Porter or Bamba. I think their skills translate better.

He reminds me of the overhyped Toni Kukoc. He was being billed as the best Euro player ever and like a Croatian Magic Johnson. He was good but never HOF good. He reminds me of him.

Don’t kill me it’s just my opinion.

You definitely have a minority opinion there. I respect it but don't agree. He's very skilled and players that young with that level of skill are unique. I think most of his game should translate well because he's not relying on physical advantages.

I know I’m in the minority. If he’s great I can admit I was wrong. I just think his lack of foot speed and athleticism will make him a target on defense.

Ricky Rubio was overhyped too. He’s just ok as an nba player.

I dare a team to take him #1 overall.

We can still get a SF and maybe two of em.

SF is the deepest position in the draft.

I see a scenario where we can trade for a late 1st and then grab another SF wit the Bulls pick.

Walk away with:

* Jaren Jackson Jr.
* Chandler Hutchison
* Keita Bates-Diop

I need to see highlights of this game. I haven't really watched him either this year or really anyone in college basketball. You think he can play stretch 4 or is he a center like KP?

if we get a big man this draft, we should wait out till next year to get a wing player. draft is full of them

of course if we have the assets to acquire a late 1st then get those guys u mentioned. but we are most likely gonna suck ass next season too, so i think our true SF will come next year

You do realize that he is barely 17 years old in that clip playing against NBA players right?

True. But GM's is prolly gonna sleep on Hutchison and Bates-Diop cuz they senior late bloomers. I would nab them even if they just rotation pieces. We need talent and length on the wing bad. And I am sure the cost of a mid-to-late 1st won't be too crazy to net Hutchison. And Bates-Diop will likely be there at our Chicago pick as well.

I feel you on 2019 tho.

I just watched is highlights against Duke. He's really coordinated and kind of moves like a wing. That release is a little low though.

Didn't they win that game too? He basically lead is Euroleague team to a win against OKC. We need to lottery gods to help us draft him.

He moves like that cuz he used to be a guard till he hit a crazy late growth spurt. He still growing into his body and he is gonna be one of the youngest dudes in the draft.

Yeah, his form is funky but that joint works for him. He is shooting almost 45% 3PT on a high volume of attempts for a big. His FT% is good too so I am unconcerned. He may have trouble getting it off contested but most bigs don't get up into you on the perimeter anyway. And if they do close out on him he athletic enough to finish above the rim in just two dribbles from the 3PT line.

To me he the perfect fit next to KP. Better than Bagley.

i doubt hutchison is gonna be slept on for much longer. draft express got him going at #16 in their last mock. honestly i don't know how we gonna get a mid to late 1st round pick. no one wanted to give up a first for lee, and he's our best asset.

At least it's low and quick. I don't think he'll have too many problems getting off in the NBA. He probably won't get any easy shots if he played with us though since we have 0 playmakers :banghead:
