Larry Johnson was close friends with ZO’s wife.
Larry Johnson refused to take his medication for his back pain, while zo did. LJ was concerned about side effects it had on African Americans, including possible kidney disease. Which is the disease zo later contracted.
LJ became one of ZO’s biggest supporters during his kidney issues.
Bonus. Many knew that Ewing and zo were close friends. But don’t know Ewing was the one who was going to donate a kidney to zo. They were a match. But doctors were concerned about Ewing’s high blood pressure.
